    guys may issue ngyon dmax ko.

    yun temp gauge pag umaandar na sasakyan namamatay, like wala power yun needle position.
    pero pag mag stop, aakyat ulit pero hindi na sya mukha correct needle position, parang 2-3 guhit ang kulang.

    pag off and then restart engine or kahit ON ang key mukha normal temp, pag idle makina mukha normal din.

    ano kaya problema or sira?

    malinis naman radiator based sa green na green yun reservoir at top ng radiation (nearly 2 years na coolant).
    parang temp sensor kaya?
    if so sana hindi mahal genuine part at hindi mahal labor.

    Baka nga sensor yan, sir. I have no idea too on the cost.

    Ung sakin naman ung floater ng gas tank ata ang sira and medyo pricey pag pinapalitan. 12k+/- ata, I forgot already. Ayaw niyang pumunta sa taas ng 1st line of the fuel level pero pag nasa incline and butt first, pumupunta naman. Pero sabi ng dealer na wala naman daw problem un. Parang more than 2 yrs na nga atang ganon and up to now ok pa din.

    cool yun sweeping needle pag key-on ng gauges
    may post ako dati kung pwde ilagay sa gen1-non-crdi ang crdi gauges, i love the optitron and that sweeping needles. high end dating

    isuzu lang ata ganun (maybe TB-Colorado too)

    yup, like power on, needle at 45% sa temp gauge. then mag loko ang temp gauge needle at lowest/naka off position.

    pero pag hindi ka umabante after start hindi naman "namamatay" yun temp gauge.

    kagabi start ko cold engine, though hindi ko na matagal nag warmup, umaakyat yun needle.
    sa ngayon nag fa-function kahit malfunction..

    observe ko muna. double checked m coolant and aux fan just in case.
    both excellent condition though banabantayan ko na aux fan ko for signs of malfunction kasi over 10 years na.

    Bro baka di mo lang napapansin na ganun talaga. At power on magread ang temp needle. At off wala siya.

    Edit: sorry ngayon ko lang na gets. Mukhang power issue ang needle mo bro. I think it has nothing to do with the cooling system ng dmax mo.

    galing sa plus 2hrs roundtrip marikina-west triangle.

    papunta nag lalaro yun temp needle, nag peak sa "correct" temp then babagsak dahan dahan. pag aakyat dahan dahan ulit.
    pero yun pabalik (naka park about 30 mins) one time lang naglaro at hindi pa bagsak sa dulo. napansin ko nalang sa may philcoa steady sya sa normal temp hangang makauwi sa marikina.

    maybe grounded? i checked na properly seated mga fuses ok naman.
    maybe may nagalaw ako connector (power/electrical nga malamang) nun nag linis ng carpet because we removed the seats and plastic things mga 6 weeks ago.

    Mga ka dmax, tanong ko lang kung ok ba ang rota grid offroad 17" sa truck natin?
    I owned a 2011 4x4 dmax ls. Nagpalit na din kasi ako ng mags black rhino 265/60/R18.
    Naencounter ko lang ay yung sumasayad sa mud guard(kaunting sayad lang naman) yung gulong tuwing todong liko.
    Ano kayang series ng gulong ang best fit para maiwasan yung pagsayad ng gulong sa mud guard?

    na trapik ako kanina 10-20 idle or 1st gear only very short travel. normal yun temp gauge. haay.
    sana hindi na magloko puro trapik pa naman ngyon kahit malayo pa pasko. most likely connector/ground/power cause ng issue na ito

    about twice a year sili-silip narin ako sa isuzu rizal since 2009, mag kakilala narin kami. nag aabang kasi ako mga promo like 20% off sa parts and labor. ang napa service ko na duon ay tappet clearance at fuel filters.
    lagi ko monitor price ng clutch set kasi pinag hahandahan ko.
    ang gusto sa service area nila pwde ka lumapit sa vehicle mo (ala toyota marikina and honda spa).

    Mga boss, favor naman po. Pashare naman po ako ng pictures ng engine bay ng dmax nyo specially yung sa may clutch fluid reservoir pababa. 2008-2012 model sana. Yung clutch bleed line kasi parang hindi ayos yung pagkakakabit.
    Compare ko sana yung sa inyo saka yung sa akin. Please help me. TIA!

    Mga sir sa tingin nyo darating kaya yung 2.5 vgs dito sa pinas? Mas bet ko kasi yun atleast updated siya sa technology parang hindi kasi bagay ang price ng dmax if compared with the new ranger and colorado parang overpriced.

    Just got the dmax and frankly mas pinili ko 4jj1 tc rather than waiting for the 4jk1 tc vgs because of proven relibility in PHL conditions. Hindi naman siya underpowered for me (i came from a vgt strada, vgt tucson, vgt ranger 2.2 and vgt sta fe. Nagtataka nga ako bakit on paper mababa rating ng 4jj1 pero in actual malakas siya. with the new body, comfort features and tech, i think hindi siya overpriced vs the rest in the market. Retaining an old engine doesnt mean its not all new.

    But to answer your question, yes i think darating ang 4jj1 tc vgs sa dmax since they alredy brought it in with the mux. As of the moment mas pipiliin ko pa din ang 4jj1 and wait a couple of years until proven na ang 4jk1.

    My dad bought the mux and on a positive note, i felt mas smooth ang power delivery niya vs the dmax's 4jj1

    Yup, based on our test drive mas tahimik yung 4jk1 vgs and mas maganda ang shifting points niya. As for the power, parang pareho lang

    *crosswind - Unit is expected delivered next week pa. I based my findings on a test drive we did last thursday. We got the 4x2 automatic variant.
