Malaki ang chance gaya ng dmax. Yung quality kasi ng fuel natin sa pinas is not as good as other countries. Warranty issues ang iniiwasan nila. Yan din isa sa reason kaya huli models natin.

....Honestly lang mga sirs na naka-bagong D-max ngaun na Pinoy-version, mas maganda pa rin ang stock issue na walang roof rails. Hindi bakyang tignan na parang mag-skii sa snow ang mga taong sasakay nito. Sinadya talaga ng Isuzu yan na alisin sa mga bansang hindi nag-i snow kahit pa sabihin natin ma-diskarte "kuno" mga Pinoy sa usage ng roof rails or roof racks etc

1. at 160 kph may naririnig ako na humming sound parang sipol nirecord ko..pinakita ko sa casa yung video..sabi ng casa baka daw turbo..pag labas ko casa di daw nila alam saan galing tunog..so nag self diagnose ako hinataw ko ulit sa skyway nag experiment lang ako finold ko side mirror..nawala yung tunog kahit 180..so im sure na sa side mirror galing yung tunog sinabi ko sa casa

2. Yung headlights may moist agad..madumi na yun loob parang may mapa..visible siya pag naka bukas headlights niyo..eevaluate daw sabi ng casa..

3. Sa unang bukas ng compressor may grinding sound..iniwan ko dmax ko sa casa to check overnight..for evaluation din daw..

4. at cold start may parang sipol na sira bearing..for evaluation din daw..

5. RIde height di pantay..tatlo na ata kami nagreklamo..

in all fairness sa casa..kausap ko na yung manager sa warranty division..nasa thailand na daw yung report nila..waiting for feedback na lang sa thailand..

buti pa 2005 dmax ko wala problema..272kms na takbo..

check niyo 2014 units niyo..for reference lahat yan and pix and yung video nasa fb page ng isuzu dmax club philippines

Sir Vanleano and Yodzzesl, im assuming you both have 3.0 2014 LS models? Mine is the base model 2.5L 4x2 MT LT, from your posts and reply with quote, i never noticed any of the 1, 2, 4 and 5 concerns, maybe due to the difference in our model, features, specifications and suspensions, but with the number 3 - grinding sound, i believe that also is present in my LT with turning the right most knob for cooling - compressor. I'll see if i can measure the ride height next time if hindi nga ba pantay din.

1) I am not sure how a side mirror can cause a sort of humming or whistling sound on high speeds. My guess is baka nga spool ng turbo un. Malamang hindi mapapalabas ng driver ng dealer yang naririnig mo when they test drove it kasi wala namang roads dito na mahaba to run 160 kph.hehe

2) Baka hindi na sealed ng maayos. But for a new ride nagmo moist na agad and madumi na ung loob? Yung akin wala naman ganyan problema.

3) Maybe the grinding sound that you are hearing is the engaging and disengaging of that magnet "thing" (hindi ko alam ang tawag). Pag nag engage or disengage kasi un, parang may umiikot siya na part and kung minsan ay may "tuugg" sound pa.

4) Yang mga parang sirang bearing at cold start or even running, once you start hearing those whining, swishing, rattling, buzzing sounds, based sa experience ko with my unit, it's either the timing chain/gear or tensioner.

5) Siguro hindi pantay kasi mas mabigat ang driver side due to the placement of the fuel tank.


Hopefully they will find the fix on the issues of your truck.

i think i have the same observation sir rna800, at cold start - then after warming up switching on aircon i also hear grinding sound then after few seconds that annoying sound's gone, cguro hindi pa nagcirculate yung oil sa loob...so far no change - malamig pa rin po...

Wow... that's a lot of issues to be addressed, and some of them are cause for concern.
I also have spoken to a fellow dmax owner who shares the same sentiments - the new dmax has more issues than the old.

For my dmax, at this early stage, the driver side window is already squeaking.
