Hi mga sir,

My 1.5k PMS costs PHP4700. 4x2 LS M/T.
Mas mahal daw po yung PMS ng A/T kasi yung transmission oil nya is around PHP1k/liter. Whereas, the M/T uses IGMO on its transmission which is around PHP230/liter.

Recently I was searching for formal forums for Isuzu D-Max owners and I noticed that there are only a few available.
This thread was the most populated one so I joined it.

Reading through the topics for a few days, I find it hard to navigate, search and reply to the same topic (maybe I just don't know how to use the tool itself).

Anyway, in the hope of having a better venue for discussions, I tried to create a forum for Isuzu D-Max owners. The site is easy to use and it is well organized.

sa mga naka mags+tires >16" oem , kasyang kasya ba at wala ba problema pag ilagay ko ngyon sa 2004 dmax ko ay
OEM 17s and 18s from other brands? wlang sabit at wala naman epekto sa takbo lalo na sa highway.

palitin na 4 na gulong, wanna explore the second hand market for tires and wheels. sa halaga ng 4 new AT tires ay meron mabili na 18s ng wildtrack o 17s ng monterosport (mags+tires) for example.

i know obvious galing iba brand mags. pero I cannot ignore yun practical value.

I owned 2nd hand dmax ls 4x4 m/t 2011 model.
Normal lang ba yung fc nya eh 10.2 km/l base sa fc indicator?
Stock mags po gamit ko. Mas malakas ba sa diesel ang 4x4 compared sa 4x2?

guys yung turbocharger ko, when i loosened the pipe eh bumubuga na ng oil? dapat na bang palitan? magkano kaya ang OEM na turbocharger? alterrra 2006 pala yung baby ko..

*jake_android: Normal lang yan, sir, lalo pag palaging traffic ang dinadaanan mo. Ung akin nga, ever since they started the road work in the greater Fairview area, grabe na ang build up ng vehicles sa Commonwealth Ave. Sometimes it will start at Mercury Drug near Dona Carmen or from Camaro to Fairview City Mall then NCBA to North Fairview. Since hindi pwedeng mag right ang trucks and buses sa Regalado, they go straight and turn right at Mindanao Ave in Commonwealth in Sta Monica.

Simula niyan nasa 9.6 kms/liter nalang ung reading ng akin. Before I was averaging 10.9 kms/liter. But if I run it on the expressway, nagiging 11+ kms/liter ulit.

Normal lang yang FC mo..(dedepende din kasi yan sa driving style at traffic condition)
Yup! Mas malakas sa Diesel ang 4x4 compared sa 4x2 due to the added weight..

Sir paCheckUp mo muna Oto mo bago ka magresort sa Palit agad.. Baka naman may remedyo pa yan.. Masakit sa bulsa kung palit agad..

Sir my computation yan eh pagdating sa Gulong.. Hindi ko lang kabisado pero sina Ry_tower may mga idea pagdating dyan(pwede mo sya PM-approachable naman siya)..
may effect kapag nagpalit ka ng size ng rim at gulong.. Kapag magpapalit ka sa mas malaki-mas magiging matagtag sasakyan mo at babagal ang arangkada ng oto mo. Plano ko din yan dati pero habang nagreresearch ako at nakapagtanong-tanong eh mas maayos pa din ang stock kaya di ko na itinuloy.. Mostly kasi ang habol mo lang naman sa bigger tire is yung porma, liban dun sa tingin ko wala na..^_^

Hi mga sir, i just bought a 2nd hand dmax ls 06 automatic, normal lang ba na medyo mavibrate sya? I have a honda civic 1.8s matic also and nagvibrate sya dati engine support ang cause. Diko kasi alam sa dmax 1st time ko magkaron ng pickup and 1st time ko rin isuzu. Sabi baka daw mataas ang menor? Saka pag pinapatay ko engine, parang medyo makalog, mahina lang naman, ayoko na kasi muna paconsult mekaniko, lage ako naloloko, palibhasa babae.

The other day my CEL lit up but before that, I felt the vehicle was kinda heavy and clatter-y. Then I saw it appeared.

Yesterday it disappeared and never showed up anymore.

Thinking that it was due to a clogged EGR, I contacted my friend who knows how to clean the EGR. I had it cleaned today. It wasn't that dirty but there was a noticeable build up of carbon in it. Last time I had it cleaned was January of last year and I think 32k+ kms ago. I am going to observe if that CEL shows up again.

Like my last experience after EGR cleaning, I felt that the truck runs much better and smoother again.

It only cost me 1k pesos for the cleaning as compared to 3.2k of Central Diesel.

About your '06 LS Dmax query, it depends on what you mean by "mavibrate."

Normal na mas ma-vibrate ang diesel engine kaysa sa gasoline engine. Pero kung sa tingin mong hindi normal ang vibration, maraming pwedeng causes like the following:

- Ung sa engine support ng Civic niyo, yan ung vibration na pag pinatay mo ang engine, meron ung "krug" sound and magshi shake talaga ang vehicle. Same thing when you start it, malakas ang nginig. Most likely pag ganyan ang symptom ng Dmax mo, baka nga yan ang problem considering the age of your pickup.

- It can also be your RPM reading. Ang alam kong normal na reading is the needle should be at the line before the 1k rpm so that means it's 800 rpm. Pag below that, for sure manginginig ang makina. Pag above naman diyan, malakas naman ang fuel consumption mo kasi ang equivalent niyan ay parang inaapakan mo ang gas pedal.

- Pwede din baka barado ang fuel filter or air filter mo.

- I am not sure kung may EGR ung '06 Dmax pero pwede din yun pero dapat makita mo ung CEL/MIL sa dashboard mo.


Maraming pwedeng panggalingan ang severe vibration ng sasakyan and dapat ma-check yan para malaman kung ano exactly ang nagko cause.

Saan ba ang location niyo, ma'am? Marami naman mga recommended na shops dito sa Tsikot and I have gone to some of them pero mostly change oil lang ang pinapagawa ko. Since may malapit na Isuzu dealer sa place ko, doon ko nalang dinadala for repair kasi sobrang hassle sa akin ung dadalhin ko sa isang shop then ako ung bibili ng parts then pag may kailangan ulit, ganon nanaman. Wala akong time para doon kaya iniiwan ko nalang sa dealer and they will just inform me kung ok na.

Hi sir rna800, thanks! o sige pacheck ko na yan atleast na narrow down ang mga dapat icheck. Dito ako sa bataan nearest service center kasi sakin is in san fernando pampanga pa, mga 1 and 1/2 hr away pa.

Kung wala ka din lang alam na trusted mechanic sa lugar niyo, better bring it to the dealer. Mas mapapagastos ka pa when you bring it to those hole in the wall shops na kung ano anong parts ang ilalagay tapos inferior pala and in the end, sa dealer din ang bagsak mo kasi hindi naman nila maayos ayos ung sira.

Sir rna800, Sige ill update kung anu naging cause ng vibration. Atleast pagpunta ko sa mechanic he will think na may alam ako sa sasakyan kahit pano. Hehe. As of now, nasa paint center sya pinapahilamusan ko muna, then ill replace lahat ng fluids etc. Lots of plan for "xam" 😊

Ang gawin mo, ma'am, since 2nd hand mo nabili ang Dmax mo, kung hindi ka sure kung na change oil na yan, lahatin mo na.

Ipa change oil mo, change oil and air filters, change fluids especially the transmission oil, kung nasa good condition ang Dmax mo, feeling mo naka steriods pag napalitan lahat yan, ang liksi. Ganyan kasi ung akin lalo after ng major PMS, ang sarap ng feeling ng takbo, parang bago ulit. Isama mo nadin ung EGR cleaning, kung merong EGR ang '06 Dmax para talagang mas swabe pa ang takbo.
