October 22nd, 2011 09:55 AM #903havent tried it pa. but what im hearing about others is that bendix is a good brand for brake pads and brembo is definitely a brand you cant go wrong if were talking bout calipers/brake system. medyo mahal lang daw.hehe..i upgraded the size of my tires to 265/75/r16 pero nagpalit lang ako ng brake pads na isuzu genuine pa din. wala naman pagbabago. ok din naman sya.
maybe others can comment on this matter..

October 25th, 2011 01:18 PM #904My 2004 4X2 LS power windows is giving me problems. The casa fixes it and then a few weeks later the front windows - passenager and driver, give me problems again. The passenger side just refuses to go up and down. (I can still hear the motor make a "clicking" noise when I press the button.) While the driver side needs to be pushed down and then works again. Is it time to get a new motor? Anybody has suggestions? Thanks in Advance.

October 26th, 2011 10:30 PM #908Sir Benz, may nabibili na bang ganyan na grill sir na puede ipalit sa current model?
Yeah, that 4JJ1-TCX engine may not be issued after all to us
....As years went by since it was released in 2006 (and in late 2007, we've been given instead the old 2004 model 4JJ1-TC), our hopes that this 4JJ1-TCX will be issued sooner to us Pinoys became hopelessness by 2011, and by now as 2012 is fast nearing, the way i describe it is more of despair, or even worse, apathy.
The last straw of hope was the recent official announcement of Isuzu Phils. that it cannot guarantee when will the 2012 DMax RT-50 be issued here citing unbelievably-conceived reasons like the right-hand steering conversion to left-hand steering, and the tip-top conditioning of the new RT-50 to run best in Philippine-road conditions (c'mon it's just a tweaked-out and improved 4JJ1-TCX engine, where the reason though may actually lies GULP!!!!).... Everyone would certainly think that neither the 4JJ1-TCX DMax iTEQ VGS nor the RT-50 will come to the Philippines because both pickups share the same basic engine platform, only that the RT-50's engine is an improved or tweaked-out version hehe
Anyone who is in his right mind would not buy of course that crap put-up by Isuzu Motors haha!Certainly, not when all of us knew that Isuzu Motors had been selling cars here since the early 70's (or perhaps even earlier than that) during the Isuzu Gemini era.... Does Isuzu Japan meant to say that up until now it hasn't mustered it's way through the Philippine-theatre of commercial cars?
Nonetheless, to keep ones love for the local DMax fleeting upbeat, one way to do this is to somehow mimic, by seat-of-pants feel, the 4JJ1-TCX's power thru the installation of a diesel-EFi tuning kit onto the current 4JJ1-TC, like the Racechip Pro i've got. i said this because you know for a fact that i've driven this 4JJ1-TCX Mr. Hood Scoop when i was stationed in Spain from 2008 to early 2010, and the DMax iTEQ VGS Turbo was one of our daily 4x4 utilities alongside Nissan Navara's and Toyota Hilux's.
At the current setting of B-E clicks with the Racechip Pro, it still lacks the punch i used to feel from the stock 4JJ1-TCX. B is the power cut-off distribution dial along the rev-range or the extent of the OOOOMPH along the rev-range while E is the power-increment dial responsible in upping the power. Also, all i know now that at my current B-E setting my wheel-hp is somewhere 140 bhp and my torque is only at 304 Nm. It's still a long-shot to mimic the 360 Nm torque from the 4JJ1-TCX engine.
Perhaps, i may have to go as high as B-0 (zero) or B-1, or i may even have to distribute further-out my power distribution cut-off to 0 or 1 finally giving me a setting of 0-0, or 0-1, or 1-1 or could even be 1-2, or even greater than just to mimic the 4JJ1-TCX's power, granting my engine doesn't experience limp mode hehe. But, i see some LIGHT with this approach, or HOPE hehe ;)
Let's see how the old 4JJ1-TC engine fair with 1st-stage intake mod
