haay install sa dmax ko "ds4496" bendix brake shoe for isuzu application. quick google search wala naman ganun.

anyways im not blaming anyone. iniwan ko talaga duon sasakyan to take care of other matters.
palitan ko agad pag may na feel ako hindi tama sa rear brakes.

for non-crdi dmax dapat talaga BS5010 ang rear brake shoes like the catalog indicates.

Having my rear brakes serviced at shell station. Need replace brake shoes surprised they will provide bendix brake shoe. Its pricey (2k ++) versus previous replacements ko na rico brand. According to catalog Bs5010 ang model. Sana pareho at genuine ibigay.

I am happy na matatapos ang taon na hindi bumalik ung MIL/CEL ng Dmax ko. More than 1 month na ata and 1400+ kms na ata ang natakbo nung biglang nawala.

6 yrs and 4 months, almost 118k kms and ok na ok padin Dmax ko. Ni walang nasisira, antay lang ng antay ng next PMS.

* Atty. Don- I don't have any personal feedback re tuning chip, but maybe you can try DPchip. I've read good feedback from it, though not on Isuzu but Nissan and Toyota's.

* rna- Likewise. Happy with it, except for a near tire replacement on all 5's! and perhaps the rack end, para isang gawaan nalang plus the alignment. My current fc is still peg at 7.8-8kms/l. Somehwat disappointed, but I'd still give Mobil Delvac MX a second chance, if fc improves then good, if not change to Delo 400 or the Shell R4x.

Yung 2014 dmax ko din kasi walang problema. Takbo lang ng takbo. Ayaw tumigil kakatakbo hehe. My close friend has the dpchip pero sa 2.5 jk1 engine. Ok naman. Similar na sa 3.0 ang power ng engine niya. Time to buy a good bed cover this month. Okay ba ang carryboy products?

Thanks Van. Sorry what I meant was bed cover yung takip sa bed para di mabasa mga gamit. Yung bedliner ko kasi galing sa casa. Okay din naman. Im thinking of an overlap bed cover para sure na walang tubig hehe.

mga sirs tanong ko lng po. sa mga nakapagtry na po magtanggal ng air filter ng aircon ng isuzu dmax 2011 LS. model. san ko po b mahahanap un. at paano tanggalin. sinubukan ko buksan ung glove compartment at tnry ko tanggalin ung takip ng airfilter as the manual describes pero hindi ko naman mabuksan. gusto ko lng sana malinisan. salamat sa magaadvice...

Ung akin nga, umilaw na ang CEL, umingay na ung timing gear/chain, takbo padin ng takbo. Walang palya, ni hindi nga tumirik, pumugak pugak, as in wala, gamit padin ako ng gamit hanggang sa pinaayos ko na.

Sa bed cover, ang Carryboy product na na try ko was the roller lid and that will be the last time na bibili ako nun. Sa Mazda ko noon, I used a Pace Edward roll top. After masira ung roller lid ng Dmax, PE roll top nalang ang pinalagay ko, less hassle.

One thing is for sure, hindi water tight ang mga yan. Mag li leak sila kahit anong seal ang ilagay mo.

*ganjaman: Ung aircon ko never kong pinagawa/pinalinis sa dealer. Ung friend ko ang naglilinis and he has been cleaning the airconditioner of our vehicles way back pati sa bahay namin and sa shop, he knows how too. Mas mura and ganon din.

Hindi ko sure kung nalinis na niya ung air filter ng aircon kasi pag tinatawag ko para magp palinis, iniiwan ko lang siya sa garage namin while he does his thing and sinisilip ko lang paminsan minsan.

Ano ang difference ng PE sa carryboy? Ours is still okay pa naman. Though may water leakage na nga pag umulan or after washing. We have the manual roll top lid.

Speaking of which, when you turn on/off your ac do you follow the, blower then set the ac knob to desired temp, tapos pag switching off you do the same procedure? Kasi parang spring type yung knob ng dmax, and it might fail in the long run if we keep on doing that on off thing. Kaya kami set na agad sa 1/4-1/2 ng knob, then we just turn the blower, so automatic na andar agad ang compressor. Unlike sa mga push button na a/c, mas madali.

Magulo ba yung tanong ko? Hahahah

I see. Thank you for your inputs. I don't follow it as well, pwera na lang pag push button ung sa a/c, mas comfortable akong i push ng i push yung button, kesa sa i turn ng i turn yung knob, may chance pa na masira.

May Thread po ba dito for the NEW (2013-present) D-Max owners? Nahihirapan poa kasi ako hukayin yung thread na ito.. na coconfuse ako kung yung previous ba or bagong D-max yung pinag-uusapan.. :D . Isa ito sa prospect kong pickup. Gusto kong malaman kung problematic ba yung NEW model. Mapa major or minor problem.

I have the 2014 dmax. No regrets whatsoever. Came from a 2012 ranger and a 2011 strada. I both sold with less than 10k on the clock. Dami probs eh.

re sa thread ng 2014 Dmax wala kasi continued lang dito from the previews model. siguro kasi same engine din lang e. I got may 2014 dmax for 2months na. so far so good. although hindi ito kasing tulin ng Ranger pero mas kampante ako sa durability ng makina nito. sapat naman na ang power specially kung kelan mo kailangan, mahaba torque band nito kasi. sa ride naman naman comfortable ako, have driven it for straight 6hrs driving time hindi pagod pakiramdam ko sa destinasyon. mag 2mos pa lng dmax, mag 2nd pms na ako by next wk, 4.9k kms na kasi odo reading ko. fuel consumption avg 12.6kms per ltr, ayon sa MID sa dashboard.

Tisoy and Djerms.. Glad to hear na masaya kayo sa mga2014 D-Max nyo. This is the first car(4 wheel vehicle) that I will buy. Usually kasi nanghihiram lang ako sa parents ko hehe. Gusto ko naman they'll have a sturdy but confy ride pag isasama ko sila. Kaya ayoko ng sakit sa ulo na vehicle hehe. Gusto ko rin sana yung Ford Ranger.. kya lang may "Dark Side" pala iyong relibility at service ng Ford. I want a vehicle that can last 10 or more years.. na walang MAJOR problems. Yung Toyota naman mukng reliable naman as I also read their thread kaya lang for me parang medyo DATED naa yung model nila at ayoko ng hintayin yung upcoming model ng Hilux nila. At least D-Max modern na ang design.

May nabasa po ako dito na may ride height issue po daw ito or isolated case lang yun? At na resolved na kaya yun?

Sa parts and services po ba mabilis ba ang parts? and good po ba ang services nila? Plan ko bumili sa Marcos Highway Branch nila kasi yun ang malapit samin.

I'm planning to get the X Series.

yung unit ko na sideswipe ng wingvan 3wks ago. wasak sidemirror,left side. may stock naman sa casa na palitan namn agad. driver window lng yung coming pa next week daw. sabi ng service advisor eon namn daw available parts such as headlight grills etc. buti ho4ndi na damage. sa makina naman since previews model pa ito naka install sa new body, sure ako sa availability nito sa market at casa.

Dmax namin sa office 4jj1 engine more than 150tkms na tinatakbo hehehe. Kaya naisipan ko din bumili ng 2014 dmax. So far satisfied hehe.

Sad to hear about sa nangyari sa Unit nyo but I'm glad na na-reresolved naman nila yung ganitong Issue.

Anyone here has a bad experience sa service nila? It's looking good so far, if not I'll go with Isuzu then..
