Photos you have posted do show the oilpan and part of the transmission. The neophyte in me says it's not a leak in the oil pan per se but the oil may just be "crawling" to it.
Best to have your car lifted and have the underchassis thoroughly cleaned. That way, you'd be able to trace (and determine) where the oil leak is actually coming from.

March 24th, 2011 01:50 PM #1162A cleaning (pressure wash) as recommended by Benzmizer, is mandatory before going any further.
My guess (not good enough, though!) is that the rear engine oil seal is leaking.
Check your engine oil level more often until you determine the source of the leak.
Please let us know what you find, so that we can all benefit.
Ciao!
Uncle Nick.

If my assesement is right, thats in between rear part of engine block and the bell housing of the transmission case. If correct it can be the rear crank case Oil seal.
Procedure: transmission housing will be taken down (might as well have your clutch pack checked or replaced to save you money if near replacement stage na) Lower part of crankcase will taken out and cleaned.
Parts you will need.
1 pc. Front collar gasket
1 pc. rear collar gasket
1 pc front crank case oil seal
1 pc. rear crank case oil seal
Most expensive will be the labor, parts are quite cheap but made in japan. You may as well be paying for labor of transmission pull-out and crankcase pull-out. Might as well replace the other seals involved. Get a very good mechanic or one with warranty. I deally the engine should be turned upside down for correct mounting, but since we are in the philippines it can be done without turning it over. IMHO

March 24th, 2011 05:23 PM #1165Thanks to all of you...i changed my engine oil and the mechanic noticed that the engine is overfilled with oil. Could this be the culprit?
