nag leleak po yung hose for my P-Steering, upon inspection mukhang sa crimping between metal and plastic/rubber hose...
Its no longer LED type. . .even sportivo is not LED. . .last ata ay 2009 model. . . i think its becuase the led type is prone to damage, if one bulb get busted, soon other will follow and it can't be replaced without opening the taillight assymbly. . .unlike yong bulb lang, its so easy to replace the bulb. . .

Procedure: transmission housing will be taken down (might as well have your clutch pack checked or replaced to save you money if near replacement stage na) Lower part of crankcase will taken out and cleaned.

    Parts you will need.
    1 pc. Front collar gasket
    1 pc. rear collar gasket
1 pc front crank case oil seal
1 pc. rear crank case oil seal

Most expensive will be the labor, parts are quite cheap but made in japan. You may as well be paying for labor of transmission pull-out and crankcase pull-out. Might as well replace the other seals involved. Get a very good mechanic or one with warranty. I deally the engine should be turned upside down for correct mounting, but since we are in the philippines it can be done without turning it over. IMHO
    Just for future reference.....

The rear engine oil seal, if replacement is required does NOT require a major job.

The oil seal can be had in two parts, an upper half and a lower half. When you drop the oil pan, replacing the lower seal is academic.

The top seal requires a special tool, not too expensive, which allows you to push out the top seal, at the same time that you "pull in" a new replacement seal.

Keep this in mind, as many garages like the big job of removing the crankshaft, and replacing so many parts that are still "good" but "worn".

    Did you know that?

Tsikot is most valuable to us, don't you think?

    Ciao!

    Uncle Nick.

And may gagastusin ba kahit isang kusing?

Any chance you ran into a pothole? If not, it should be under warranty if done sa CASA. I believe the process should not be that long. Best to call and set an appointment so you wouldn't have to fall in line.

Hi Crosswind people, me and my dad are about to pull the trigger on a "2011" XTi. They say it's 2011 because of the color choices. Any other changes from the 2010 model? I see in the specs too that the 2010 XTi has NO high mount stop lamp while the "2011" version has. Is it worth the extra?

Any other dealers that you recommend that gives good offers? We already had talks with Inteco Quezon Ave. and their service are satisfactory there so far. Anyways, this will be our first car and we're gunning for a Crosswind for its known reliability, any tips you would want us to remember for smooth sailing for years to come?

Ok ba ang HU ng XTi? May AUX in ba?

Sorry sirs for the barrage of questions, yung SA kasi sa Inteco QA di pa daw siya nakakaattend ng seminar kaya wala pa siyang alam. Hope you would respond to this. Thanks!

P.S. Avoid Isuzu Rizal (the one along Marcos Highway) at all costs. We inquired there and were never even invited to a seat. Booo.

Hindi naman nadaanan sa pothole. Na-observe nalang ng driver namin na may kabig to the left siya. Kaya pala last night, hirap na hirap ako mag-park. Gaano kaya katagal yung alignment?

    -back-up sensor
-jvc head-unit as sony sa 2010 model
    -painted bumper
    -the high mount stop lamp
-clear-colored side mirror repeater light as amber sa 2010 model

Anyways, this will be our first car and we're gunning for a Crosswind for its known reliability, any tips you would want us to remember for smooth sailing for years to come? We got our unit in isuzu manila. Usual freebies lang nakuha namin. As others say, follow PMS lang and magiging "bullet-proof" yung car mo.

Ok ba ang HU ng XTi? May AUX in ba? Ano ba yung mga worth na additions para sa XTi na magandang ipakabit?-yes, jvc head-unit with aux-in and USB

    -roof rack
    -foglight
    -stepboard

Sure ako, poging-pogi yung unit mo niyan. Post ako ng pic ng car namin bukas.
