Also, just spoke with Lui from this thread and i just found out na real-time AWD pala yung katulad ng sa yo, w/ on-demand 50-50 split between rear and front via a push of the button. Kala ko kasi dati you use the button to engage the 4wd, tipong electronic shift-on-the-fly. Para palang CRV din SF but w/ the addt'l feature of the 50-50 locking.

So how do you find it? Does your SF smoothly transition when the AWD engages?

Also, oyu mentioned 7 km/li ka ngayon? Consistent ba to at city driving o bumababa pa to mga 5-6 ?

The 7 km/l is city driving but light traffic lang. I am sure it will go lower if your daily commute is makati or manila. It is my wife driving but kung ako malamang mas mababa sa 7.

I don't really feel the AWD effect but those who own a CRDi 4x2 complain about oversteer due to the enormous torque of the CRDi. Siguro corrected ito sa CRDi AWD. I think it is still worth a wait for the 4x4 CRDi than getting the gas. Better FC and it will retain it's value better than the gas.

    Please enlighten me.
The max I got was 16.5 km/liter, doing only 80 - 100 km per hour, Manila-Pangasinan-Manila. the 32km/l in the C! magazine may be a typo error or maybe they drove economically and without aircon.

C! often drives on the NLEX to do their testing. It probably is possible to get 32 km/l if you stick to 60-80 kmh and drive very smoothly (there should be no traffic, too). I've seen a range of 10-16 km/l for my gasoline 2.0 on the NLEX, depending on how I drive.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I think the 3x km/li that C! got is quite plausible, since they managed to get the same result with an Accent recently.

Salamat bro sa advice. Reading all the suggestions from this thread really helped. I look forward to becoming an SF owner really soon. In the case of an AWD CRDi then most likely October pa dating non.

Sayang nga walnag ESC yung PH version on SF gaya ng sa ibang countries. My aunt drove an SF in Virginia with all the bells and whistles and she says its really becoming a popular choice in the US.

Enjoy na lang your ride SF tsikoteers!!!

i have been to 5 dealers already and the offers are as follows:

dealer A: 40t discount, free platinum tint, back up sensor, matts, rain gutter

dealer B: 30t discount, free 3m tint, back up sensor, matts, rain gutter, 3 yrs LTO

dealer C: 40t discount, free 3m tint, back up sensor, matts, rain gutter, 3 yrs LTO, and probably 1 yr comprehensive insurance

dealer D: 40t discount, free 3m tint, matts, rain gutter, 3 yrs LTO

dealer E: 30t discount, free 3m tint, matts, back up sensor

pls share to me if you get a better deal or same as dealer C. I plan to get CRDI next month after reading this thread. My original choice was the 2.5 D4D Fortuner or Kia LWB Carnival. But I guess, tis the Sta Fe for me..

sir, may I know the dealer C? paki-PM na lang sa akin. Is the option available kahit outside insurance? meron dealer kasi almost the same offer as dealer C but you have to get in-house insurance eh napakalaki ng interest pag in-house insurance

I think this P40K discount is just the trick on the part of the dealer as their marketing ploy, It could be better to stay away from any In house financing scheme since they wil give high interest rate especially on longer loan years Term. We are looking forward to have one SF this year hopefully.

that's precisely my point. baka kaya ganun ang offer ng dealer C is because you have to get their in-house financing. Paging sir yourman: baka po pwede PM sa akin un dealer C

actually the 40t discount is almost offered by all dealers, in house financing or cash payment (if you get a loan from a bank, hyundai considers it cash payment). the free insurance dealer C is offering is thru in-house financing, where the rates are much higher than any bank, thus the monthly payments are higher, and in the long run, the free insurance in negated.

i think the best offer, and should be our benchmark, so far is the 40t discount plus free 3yrs lto, 3m tint, back up sensor, rain gutter, and matting. maybe we can also ask as free item the rear mudguard. am just down to three dealers - edsa, alabang and wheels e.rod. they all told me to sit down with them when i am finally getting the unit and putting the down payment for their best offer..

sir inform me when you finally get your unit, your best deal and from what dealer. thanks.

don't get the free seat covers. it's crap. Just ask for more discounts + rear or front+rear mudguards.

In my case, i didn't bother to ask for the free 1-year comprehensive insurance since I prefer to choose my own insurer + have the comfort level of my agent (just in case anything happens to my SF).

Don't know about you guys but I have added to my coverage "acts of God" (1% of total coverage) w/c covers tress falling on my SF (God forbid), damage from floods, mudslides, earthquakes etc. Since our beloved country is typhoon prone, one will never know when disaster will strike our beloved SF's

TFR: If i'm not mistaken, my HID bulb is H7. Ur next project should be to upgrade to rim 20's na

Sir, I suggest you get 3M! Don't get Platinum. 3M ang pioneer ng automotive films..great heat rejection and long lasting talaga. I believe all Hyundai dealers are handled by the same concessionaire-winterpine-who distributes 3M. Ask for their 3M's Black Chrome reflective film...better yet ask for the new 3M Crystalline Film - its like V-cool only better.

I personally use only 3M for more than 15 years. Di pa ko pinapahiya. Enjoy your SF.
