anyway ... may i inquire from Santa Fe owners here about their impression/satisfaction with regards to Hyundai's After Sales Service so far ?
sir sa C5 ba yan? kasi na test drive kong unit sa C5 is owned by the Chairman/Owner of Hyunda C5. When I did the test drive, i was made to sign a waiver, stating that any injury or death by an accident, they are not liable and all damages shall be for the account of the driver.. baka hindi marunong mag drive ng matic yung bumangga..

what color did you get ?
available na raw ba talaga yung 4X4 na CRDi ?
i was able to talk to a sales rep of hyundai e.rod/wheels and she informed me that they were able to sell 2 units of 4x4 CRDi for 1.64M, this was not on indent order basis but was included in the shipment and the units were sold almost instantly. the only difference was it was 4x4. still driver side airbag only and manual a/c controls.

They likewise did my 1tKM PM and were the one's who activated my auto door lock function since they had the equipment for this. Ewan ko but I feel at ease with this dealership with the service I get from my SA Rhodel.

Btw, I decided to use fully synthetic oil for this tune-up. Am a big believer in synthetic oil, specially Mobil1 tri-synthetic[/QUOTE]

Every 10K km na ba ang change oil if you use full synthetic even with diesel engine?

Might be the same engine used in the Kia Carens. Sana sa Tuczon na lang ilagay.

that says a lot about the Santa Fe
Ooops sorry!! Reading my post back make me sound like a prick!! Those cars are owned by the family not all by myself.

And yes very happy with santa Fe.

yes 10K km or every 6 months pag synthetic, pero kung regular diesel oil 5k km or every 3 months

yan ang ginawa namin ng dad ko (sa Hyundai C5 ang service)

Starex CRDi every 3 months, non-synthetic
Sta fe CRDi every 6 months, synthetic

sir, with my starex, i tried using synthetic oil (mobil 1) at 10,000 kms intervals. but in the long run, i switch to semi synthetic at 5,000 kms intervals since synthetic oil still gets dirty like the other oil. hence, for me, its better to get semi synthetic at shorter intervals to keep the oil in the engine clean... hence, better performance running the 5,000 km-10,000km period. diesel engines need to run on clean oil to be efficient.. others nga uses mineral oil at 2,500kms intervals just to maintain clean oil in the engine..

I have logged in 553kms yesterday, went to manaoag then to baguio and back. FC is 13km/l. Man this baby can pull, cruizing on nlex at 2200rpm is at 120km/h already, lots of power reserved. overtaking is never a problem. Manual says no break-in procedure required but states to stay below 3000rpm, never went there though, 2800rpm is already 140km/h. Its very hard to fight the urge to step on the gas pedal to try what this baby can do during my trip, buti na lang napaglabanan ko, hirap non ano?

    Good day SF Owners,

Seeking your advise on possible accessories for the SF. Ive been around dealers in the Metro but very few have interesting accessories to offer.

My apologies if this has been asked here before. Thank you in advance!
