Sa mga SF owners: meron na ba sainyo nagpalit ng stock head unit? I'm planning to change kasi HU with an in-dash DVD player. Meron ba kayong alam na brand that would accept steering wheel commands (remote)? Kung wala , is there a way to have this function again, either modification or accessories?

Thanks for the advice oldblue. looking at the shop manual mukhang madali naman baklasin ang HU. problema ko na lang ay kung meron compatible HU brand para sa remote control.

Hi SFers,

I just drove out my new silver SF 2.2 CRDI yesterday. My first time to run a CRDI engine. My first time to try Hyundai brand. All I can say is this is a great SUV! Nice stereo system (although useless na ang casette), quiet cabin, comfortable ride, plenty amenities. I really like it!

I have a small complain though. Ang tigas ng horn! Marami pa naman bastos sa daan dito. Ok lang sana tulad sa US.

BTW, which do you guys recommend gas station for cleaner diesel? I heard that Petron is best because they got their own refinery.

hahaha...yan din ang reklamo ko. You have to press it hard na tapos mahina pa ang tunog! Pinalitan ko na yung OEM horns nya ng Stebel Magnum-2. Ganda na ng sound ngayon!Tumatabi na ang mga jeepney!

Congrats on your new SF. I'm sure you'll love it lalo na pag nasa highway. You won't feel na overspeeding ka na... Matigas nga ang horn, so pindot ko sa dulo hindi sa gitna... I'm been filling up sa Petron for a long time now (old starex) and had no complain with diesel quality. But then it depends on the Petron station. Some of them nangdadaya by mixing or their tank is too old marami na dumi and kalawang.

sir, magkano at saan mo pinakabit ang Stebel Magnum-2? Balak ko rin palitan yung sa SFe ko.

Actually, malakas din yung OEM horn. Try mo baba ang window. Parang mahina kung closed lahat ang window due to the Sfe's excellent sound insulation.

Bili ka sa ACE hardware ng Stebel Magnum-2 dahil mas mura doon compared sa Casa(half the price lang yung sa Ace). Sa Hyundai Alabang ko pinakabit(Php 150 lang bigay ko kay Utoy), medyo madugo lang ang pagkabit dahil babaklasin ang Headlights ng Santa Fe. But there is no need to buy a new Relay dahil may built-in Relay na yung Santa Fe natin...Salpak na lang yang Stebel Magnum-2...Kailangan mo lang ng insulated female connectors para secured yung wiring connection.Kung wala kang mabiling connector, bigyan na lang kita!

thanks for the offer... but i think maganda na ang SF na walang stepboard. Mas sporty. I can't think of anything to upgrade pa at this time. Maganda na kasi sya.

Papaulit ko lang ang tint ko sa harap kasi dun sa Hyundai EDSA hindi nila kaya ng buo (walang hati) dahil wala pala sila yun heat blower??. Kaya magpapatint ako sa other shop. Kukunin ko nalang ang tint sa casa para ang babayaran ko ay labor nalang.
