As for the automatic parklight off, i tried this but mine seem to be not working, does it have something to do with my HID upgrade?
hehehe nope. but it depends how your electrician wired it.

hid's only utilize (in most cases) the circuit going to your low beam head light and that's it!

    pa-check mo na lang sir.

Eto po observation ko sa SF ko:

1.) If no key is inserted, only parklights work, headlights will not turn on.
2.) Upon shut-off of engine with headlights on, the headlights will turn off. Once you open the door, the parklights will turn off.
3.) The domelights does not turn off when using the "ON" switch, even when locked from remote.
4.) And when using "DOOR" switch, it only turns off after I lock it with alarm.

    Medyo wierd behaviour nung domelights...

Guys my wife told me that may naririnig daw syang kalabog kapag nalulubak.
She's not sure kung front suspension but I think sa harapan yun galing. I notice it before sa front right galing ang "thud". 4 passenger lang sila with 2 kids on board. Meron na ba naka experience nito? Anu ginawa ninyo?

    Thanks in advance

Had same experience... front-right suspension pag nalulubak.
Sent it back to casa, they test drove then sabi kelangan retightening.
Afterwards, perfect na sya ulit... No extra fee, charge to warranty.

Excuse me if ever ignorante sa AT car. My wife is complaining about the smell coming from my SF after using. Naamoy daw nya once nasa labas na sya ng SF, and coming from the front wheels daw(she's guessing).
My SF is only 4 day old, so I'm a bit worried about what causing the smell.

    I'm also guessing here.
    1) Is this from transmission.
    2) Or from break pads.

I'm seeking for your advice fellow SF owners before I ask her to take it to the dealer.

    Thanks.

BTW, I noticed that my suspension has improved since the last time. Sabi sakin, magiimprove pa raw talga ang suspension after a few months kasi matigas pa sya sa una. But still contemplating in getting an aftermarket springs/shocks... maybe TEIN, Bilstein. Nakasakay kasi ako sa SF na naka TEIN, bale wala ang humps...

Maybe footbrake is engaged? Nung una madalas ko nalilimutan yung footbrake... although meron sya warning sound pag medyo mabilis na takbo.

Thanks for sharing sir Allan. Can you pinpoint which part sa front right suspension ang hinigpitan ng Casa para ma advice ni Mrs ang mechanic sa Hyundai Iloilo? Like what I said before, hindi ako confident doon. Wala lang akong ibang choice na Casa.

Out of the country ka rin ba? Kung may leak ng brake fluid, makikita ng Mrs mo yun specially sa garage palang. If yes, better send to Casa for check up.

mga sirs, there was a previous discussion in this thread about SF's immobilizer feature. yesterday kase, while i was testing shutting off the engine with the headlights still on to see nga if it's really auto-off (and yes, it is!), i tested again simulating a carnap scenario. i tried starting the engine with the alarm armed via my autopage remote, but just simply inserting the key, there was already a beep with all the lights on the display panel turning on. and when i tried turning the key to start posisiton, there you go, the alrm started blaring! and the engine of course would not start! btw, i tried it using the original key. hehehe, nice feature huh?!

Yes, I did tell her, medyo denial nga lang siguro. Baka kasi medyo nagmamadali nakakalimutan, di kasi sanay sa footbreak eh. Hope this is the case.

I'm working here in Thailand. I will ask her to check on this also.

Thanks fellow SF owners, I hope my Fe has no serious problem.

Naku Sir baka nga nakakalimutan ang foot break! Pag nangamoy sunog yun ibig sabihin naka foot break sya! hehehe Diba kase nasusunog nun ang break pads pag nakalimutan alisin ang foot break!

Ako rin natry ko nadin yung immobilize and its really cool. That is why I carry two remotes. The aftermarket for pressure sensitive alarms, and the original remote for the immobilizer function (specially when I parked in unsafe places ).

Thanks sa mga nagshare nung auto-off function ng lights.. I really should read the manual in detail :-)

Your welcome. Unfortunately, di ako sumilip nung ginawa.. besides, bawal e. As I understand, they take out the entire front suspension and put it back again kasi umabot ako ng almost 3 hours. One thing for sure, they have to work on both sides para balance.

In that case dapat sa E Rod na ako pa check.
I hope hindi mag cause ng ibang damage sa unit.

Need to advice my wife to monitor more...
    Thanks again
