racechip is ok. if we go to racechip pro, might result to engine knocking as what happen to my strada when i try to set my chip to maximum setting.

mga sirs, OT lang po. who has gone to pagudpud recently? how far is it from manila in terms of drive time? how is the road condition? any info will be highly appreciated. TIA!

mga sirs, eto po yong computation ng chip natin:

customs computaion:

129 euro (chip price will be multiplied by the number of pcs. being ordered) + customs duties (7 percent of 129 euro multiplied by no. of pcs) + freight (euro) + brokerage fee + miscellaneous fee and multiply the result by 12 percent. this goes to the government.

brokerage fee will be about 5,500 pesos

freight (still unknown), this usually depends of the kind of courier and the delivery time. rush delivery, expensive.

so we are going to pay (dividedly) the costs of the three highlighted above excluding the cost of your chip. if I order only one, that's make the chip very costly.

so who is interested? mine is ready for shipment and I just inform my friend in germany to wait some of you who wants to order also. below is our communication:

"Mr. Beck gave me a box on my desk including the RaceChip Tuning-Set for you.
With which courier should we send it out now?
The dimensions are: 27 x 16 x 7,5 cm, weight: 400g."

I just want to share my excitement about my newly arrived Santa Fe 2009. Sadly, wala ako sa Pinas today. To satisfy my craving, I asked my wife to share some pictures of the new ride, and boom...not yet satisfied because I want to drive it.:missu:

Without this thread and SF owners who gave their good feedback on their ride, probably I will be opted to buy Fortuner, which is my first choice(macho kasi dating). I’m also glad that I did the right move, to read reviews. I read some threads comparing SUVs, and I saw… Santa FE, huh?, never heard. I have doubts but then faded after reading good feedbacks from that comparo thread. Convinced? Yes I am, and even without doing a test drive I asked my wife to get one. Now Fe is home. Just TODAY!!!

I hope I can join the SF club and their future EB.:bounceD:

By the way my FE is Blue Titanium.

We went to Pagudpud by Land on October 2007. Well actually, we took a bus from Manila to a Sis in Law at Laoag (around 10 hrs travel time). then dinala nila kami sa pagudpud. mga an hour pa from Laoag. So bale 11hour-drive from Manila at an average speed.

Ok naman ang daan and the scenery is nice especially sa part ng Ilocos Norte na.

Congrats Sir! Swerte rin natin dahil bumababa ang presyo ng Diesel! Kakatuwa nga eh meron nga ibang gasoline station na nagtitinda ng diesel up to 24.00 petot na lang!

Sir Allan, dati dream ko rin yang nasa tabi ng SF mo! Sayo rin ba yan? (hehehe) Pinahiram sa amin dati yang Q7 ng Prestige Motors for one day! Akala kase nila kukuha kami kaya lang nung sumakay ako feeling ko rin asa Veracruz din ako kase almost the same lang ang instrumentation sa loob. Pero kung tutuusin, mas mataas pa ang headroom ng SF natin lalu naman yung sa Veracruz and for a fraction of the price! (hehehehe)

Haaay, loyal lang talaga ako sa Hyundai! (hehehehe... Sipsip! - Attention HARI) nyahahaha
