Well kung ako naman ay may perang pambili eh dun na ako sa pitstop or standout, kesa naman sa HARI na adulterated ang mga units.

+1,000,000, kakapikon yung mga units ng HARI, kulangkulang sa features.

I got some Starex brochures from Hyundai Alabang when my Gen3 was undergoing its 40T Km PMS.... I noticed that all variants now have "back warning system". However, only the TCI A/T 10-seater and higher variants have central lock and power side mirrors. Worse, only the CRDi variants have keyless entry with alarm and immobilizer. And, worst, only the CRDi gold variant has the rear underview mirror. These are 'standard features' in the previous model.... Talk about being an awardee in safety and convenience and moving forward with new and more exciting models....

Anyway, I noticed too that the CRDi variants have "flush glass". What is this?

Also, only the Gold variant has rear wiper and washer. Kahit sa gray market unit yung highest variant lang ang may wiper sa likod.

Mga bossing, magkano kaya ang customs duties and taxes ng Grand Starex pag direct import from Korea?

May kaibigan kasi akong korean who supplied the first Starex's that came to our shores through Standout Motors. Sya din ang supplier ng Starex sa Vietnam kaya lang mukhang nagkaroon ng restriction ang Vietnam (govt) sa importation ng sasakyan.

If there are no custom restrictions (esp. kung pang personal use lang) and mababa lang ang taxes baka mas okey pag direct import. My other worries would be warranty and parts.

Hi guys! just a newbie in here. Well, we just bought our new grand starex, 12s, a/t, crdi from HARI. In this model, rear wiper and washer is not a standard item. Is there any way we could do to install one in our unit without spending too much? Thanks!

There's no cheap way to do this. The rear windshield will have to be replaced since the rear wiper is mounted on it. If you can find someone who can import the rear windshield and other necessary parts directly from Korea, you can probably save a few thousand bucks. ;)

^^^ What do you mean bro. when you stated "full warranty"? Also, can we purchase the unit through "a leasing firm" like BDO or BPI, since this is the arrangement for our company vehicle?

Also, do you accept "trade-in" as I currently have a Gen3 unit?

    TIA.

Thanks guys for the inputs. Already talked to a HARI's technical guy. He said that we would be spending at least 100k for the installation of rear wipers because they said it is practically like replacing the whole rear door.

    Anyway, thanks again guys!

Mahal! Tsk-tsk. That's already the price difference of your CVX 12 seater CRDi A/T (P1,648,000) and the top of the line Gold variant (P1,778,000). But then, that's the casa price of parts and labor. I'm guessing the price is only half or a little more than half of the casa price if you source your parts from independent suppliers. Another thing is that the warranty on your electricals/electronics will surely get voided by doing this modification.
