This is absurd. Is this due to some new Korean law requiring speed limiters? The lowest speed limiter I've heard of is the 180km/h speed governor in JDM vehicles. I wonder if a piggyback ECU like Unichip can rectify this?

Our electronic rear view dimming mirror is a lemon. I have never been able to make it work ever since we bought it. How much is a new one?

that was the reason the dealer gave us when we reported it at it's first pms and according to them they can't do anything about it. i just don't know when did it take effect since other kdm gs owners here haven't complained of such with their units, maybe we are the first casualty if i may call it that way. lol... though we are still hoping someone will have an anecdote for this in the near future maybe after unit's warranty is expired.

i suggest bring it for diagnostics (not where you bought it, sa iba) and see if it is just a value they can change in the ecu. sa speedlab kaya? tawag ka sa kanila then ask kung may alam sila dyan, how to remove the speed limiter. then kung maalis na yang speed limiter na yan e bili ka ng new instrument panel, yung abot ng 220kph ang speedometer. sayang naman yan crdi vgt tapos 110kph lang max speed mo. pati yung pupugak-pugak na montero tatawanan ka nyan.

160 kph yung max ng speedo niya diba? Even that's already good enough for most drives.

Advantage lang ng may speed limiter ang GS kapag driver mo ang nagdadala.. Pero bad trip yan... Buti na lang, we got the GS 1st quarter of 2013. :-)

Sa mga kapwa gs owners, ask ko lang if meron ba umiilaw na pula na bulb sa door nyo both left and passenger door pag binuksan ? Yung sa akin kasi yung driver side lang umiilaw na pula

I ask kasi my gs' battery died yesterday. 3 years plus a few days haha! Actually plano ko na palitan last month pero as usual tinatamad. Coding, Sunday and family long drive lang kasi ang gamit namin sa gs, unless matapat na sabay kami may lakad ni misis kaya pwedeng "saka na lang" hehehe! Ayun natapat pa dead battery kung kelan coding ang sorento. Padeliver na lang si misis ng motolite gold 3sm kahapon.

Add ko lang, before december pag turn ng key start na agad. Nung december pag start e parang may extra revolution ng engine bago mag start kaya balak ko na palitan.

Ang meaning yata ng 3sm e 3 summers

Ang maganda nun, I had it checked a week before sa battery shop with an electronic testing, all systems go taas pa daw rating. Siguro nalamigan sa Baguio, so on the Sunday morning we were headed down, aba, medyo naghesitate. I figured after a few minutes, it should be better. Nga lang, nakababa na kami sa Urdaneta, ganun pa din mag-start!

Had to settle for a Motolite Gold because it was a Sunday, and there weren't any AC Delcos in Urdaneta.

wala ako e bukas pa uwi ko, so no choice but motolite. malamang yan 2 years lang palit na. P6,900 yung 3sm gold nila, delivered and isntalled. di ko na natanong kung kasama na disposal fee ng old battery. or kung may credit yung old core, then offset na lang ang amount.

It works to warn you which door is open, as well as serve as a courtesy light for those alighting/getting on board. I've replaced the yellow peanut bulbs with led mats to help illuminate outside the van whenever anyone wants to step off.

Guys since 160 kph max speedo ang napaguusapan dito, well, it is confirmed. Been to Hancars and Euro Standard 2 weeks ago, 160 kph nga talaga max speedo ng mga KDM GS. Pero may speed limiter? Kaya kayang matanggal yun kahit it will void the warranty if ever?
