Test drove their Titanium variant yesterday morning at the ATC.... According to the guy who accompanied me, the differences between the Titanium (P975K) and the next lower variant (P875K) are the styling of the mags (same size though); push button start, leather seats and moonroof.... With that if I were to buy this,- I'd prefer the lower variant....
Anyway, we made a U-turn in front of Metro and turned left at Madrigal Ave.... Upon turning left,- inihataw ko na ng todo, overtaking the vehicle in front of us,- until we are at the intersection of Madrigal and Commerce Avenue... I told the Ford guy that there is a noticeable lag of 3-5 sec before the engine picked-up(what do you expect from a 1.5L and a 'big' body?) and so I asked him if the petrol is unleaded or premium,- he did not know... Anyway,- we turned right at Commerce and hataw mode again. We should have turned right at Acacia but it was traffic and there are a lot of nincompoops, who would occupy the rightmost lane,- but would instead go straight.., and so I opted to turn right at the Business Park,- with all its humps and (one high speed) curve... Sporty ride is what I told the Ford guy,- but the ride is bumpy (matalbog),- medium speed curve right is so so,- parang mabuway.....Again I noticed a lag of 3-5sec when I floored the gas pedal after going over a hump.... There was another test driver who was in the middle of the road and obviously is a new driver as he could not communicate to me, based on the position and direction of his vehicle what he intends to do.... Anyway,- we turned right at Acacia and turned right of the "service road".,... this is where I can tell for certain that the ride is matagtag,- as the road was uneven... We then merged with Zap-Alab Rd and turned right at Madrigal, and then turned left on the side road leading to the entrance of ATC.... Funny thing was that the Ford guy's sales pitch was on the bluetooth connection ek ek... Oh well... For me,- the vehicle is still value for money especially with the ride height and the feel of a solid drive.... I will need to see what the Chevy spin has to offer (the main attractions are its diesel engine and ride height).

The only thing I don't like about the looks of the Spin is the back part, plus the Spin gives you the feel of a Mom driving a minivan to school.
