I agree with Syuryuken. Our concern is still with Ecosport kse bibili kme. so pag may nagtanong dito kung among dealer ang ok eh hindi pwede since dapat gumawa sya ng thread for Ecosport dealers.

Im trying to decide between getting an Ecosport AT or an Altis 1.6 AT. Which car would be more economical kaya if its to be used for city driving? My daily route would be tandang sora - edsa - ortigas and back.

I think the Ecosport has the advantage since its a 1.5L engine compared to 1.6. And the AT dual clutch transmission of Ford is claiming that it helps with fuel efficiency. Also, ecosport seems much lighter than the Altis? So all advantages on fuel efficiency is favorable on the ecosport.

I think you're mistaken sir. Mabigat talaga kaha ng EcoSport, hirap magovertake ng taxi when I took it for a test drive in MoA. Because of that lagging ang acceleration and di ka matthrow back pag nagfloor ng gas pedal. In terms of efficiency I doubt na mas magiging efficient pa siya given na underpowered ang consider ko sa kanya. I'd recommend the Altis if you prioritize fuel economy and not the added height for flood wading. Fiesta owner here btw.

Yup yan din tanong sakin nung SA ko sa ford...what do you think of the vehicle when you tes drvimit at MOA...

Naghigh rev lang ung engine when I tried to overtake faster yung Blue Test unit. Maybe kung MT yung test unit, mas mararamdaman ang power. And dun sa AT, nasa 3K rpm pa ang gear change. Medyo naiingayan na ako sa makina.

Hmmmn. Ive never really driven an ecosport so I can't comment with that lag during acceleration. Base lang sa mga reviews ang D mode ng ecosport ay talagang makupad but different with S mode. Siguro ang argument dito ay ang klase ng pag drive at posible ngang mas efficient and 1.6L since you wont need to floor the pedal to get the speed you need specially in an overtaking situation. Pero pag heavy traffic siguro iba ng usapan.

Hindi ko natry ung S mode kahit na pinapatry nung SA. Parang hindi sulit kasi paikot lang ng moa yung route during the test drive.

If you want a review buy a magazine. If you want the complete ownership experience then this is the venue for it.

Ford Pampanga's CGIC insurance is INCLUDED on every purchase of Ecosport. That is non-negotiable. Ayos! Bawal sa kanila na kumuha ka ng mas murang insurance and trusted mo. Hehehe

I saw one last night sa may leviste road sa may makati infront of kfc. Titanium na brownish. All seats in plastic pa haha. Unfortunately i did not see from what ford dealer it came from. Too excited to look at the car. 😁

i was able to test drove both at and mt.... its true, at feels like under powered but enough for city driving.
for mt, you can hear the engine specially when you accelerate. by the way i tested it here in sm cebu.

cebu has 25k price higher compared to manila due to freight charge. does it really cost 25k for freight from manila to cebu?

ahhwwww... that sounds bad!!! why do they have to add freight charges when they can easily route some of the units and directly drop shipment at cebu port instead of dropping it at Manila then transport to Cebu....
