I had the A-Pillar squeaking sound too. Good thing I had it serviced at Ford Alabang. They have done it in the past so they know how to work on it easily. They told me how hard to detect that initially. They had to replace the whole windshield and moulding. The sound is gone now. My only problem was that, I left the wireless headphones that came with the DVD headrest system at the back and they lost that. Fortunately, they had it replaced with a new one. Another thing is that the fiber moulding that covers the pillar in front (black color) was detached and flew over the weekend while I was driving over SLEX. They had both replaced yesterday. Hay! Hiyang hiya ako sa wife ko. :D Mas ok pa daw yung mga japanese car namin. But I really love driving the Explorer. So much pleasure. Parang walang stress! So explorer owners, #Puso, It could mean, continue to believe and loving our Explorers or Puso nyo! for the all the things we have to go through. :D Cheers!

As long as other Explorer owners have an easy time like you in claiming warranty. Sana lahat ng dealers ay parang Ford Alabang.

Did they also service the smell when doing hard acceleration?

I have not experienced that smell yet. But, in my next visit or PMS, I will request for a check on that. Thanks!

Hi. Been looking for a replacement for my SUV and currently looking at Ford Explorer as one of the options. Im quite interested with the Explorer Sports but if not locally available, will also consider v6 limited. What surpised me is I just looked at autohub group facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/autohubgroup and looking at their latest post/pic, it seems they are now offering the Sports variant. Any one here who has close friends from Ford Phils could confirm this news?

If it's available in Global, it should also be available on all dealership. AFAIK, sports version when they displayed it at the last Auto show it was Ford's display, not sole Autohub. You can check this out with your nearest dealership.

Pwede sa any dealership. You can try FORD Alabang, FORD EDSA, FORD GLOBAL or FORD MAKATI.

Guys share ko lang. I did a modification in my Explorer lately and still to come.

Installed DeeZee stepboard 7days shipping via UPS.
Replaced the original exhaust to Borla dual exhaust. You will hear the growl sound already.
Arrived the X-pipe but still have to be installed.
My supplier cancelled my 2013 Explorer sport grill. S**t
Arrived side air vent but still have to be installed. Need to hole the fender.
Ordered lately a set of 22" wheels from 2012 Ford Edge shipped via Fedex.

Why did your supplier cancelled the sports grill?

I checked the engine bay this morning and found the coolant reservoir empty. Filled it to the max line.
This is the first time i top up the coolant after 8500 kms on the odo. Will that really the case or is there a
    small leak somewhere ?

Probably there could be a leak. Or engine could be overheating? Hmm... not sure though, didn't u get a warning that the coolant is getting low? Hindi ba siya kasama dun s system check sa left side ng dashboard?

No warning bro and not even overheat. Actually after i filled it up, it's down to the low level mark again after reaching Nasugbu Batangas. I top-up again before going back to today then there was no change na. So i guess, it just run out from the time it came out of casa until the checked it.

Guys, have you top-up your coolant since the time you bought it ? If so, what is the frequency ?

I never top up the coolant ever since.
BTW i ordered a leveling kit for my EX. Notice the front nose is diving. Want to lift the front suspension. I hope i can have a better transaction. The item is from and built in US. They've tested and the ride will not be affected and it lift the front by 1.25". Its enough to have a high clearance and a level appearance EX.

That's some scary s**t you got there! I've never topped up mine nor our old Nissan Urvan which is about 3 years old before we sold it.
I remember one friend who is a car nut told me its not supposed to leak and if you need to fill it up from time to time, there's something seriously wrong with your car.

    Hope this helps.
