Price diff between the 2.0 and the 3.5 is now 300k. 2.0 limited have almost everything the 3.5 has except for the BLIS and rear DVD. Is the power of the 2.0 sufficient enough for city and occasional out of town driving? Out of town trips are mainly Tagaytay or a bit further south and up north to Baguio. No plan of going off road. The 2.0 has more torque though making it more efficient for overtaking vs the 3.5 NA. A friend told me that the 2.0's torque is also more efficient in climbing the zigzag roads of Baguio vs the 3.5. But I also read somewhere that the 2.0's lack power especially when fully loaded with passengers and baggage. Am I missing something?
    Niky,

Where were you able to test drive the eccoboost? Seems every dealer I go to says no test drive unit available, only display units.

I own the v6. The ecoboost is easier to drive on a daily basis because of the torque. And yes it can handle the climb to baguio easily. Who cares about top speed anyway on these cars. The biggest difference is lack of all wheel drive. That's it.

i'm pretty sure any 2.0l or higher car that has atleast 200hp can easily climb baguio or over take slow moving cars.

I just came across this article:

    Consequence:
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire.

In my estimation, about 0.5 to 1 km/l in traffic, and 1-2 km/l on the highway.

Without driving them back to back, hard to say for sure, but that's what it seems like. The difference could be higher or lower for you, depending on how you drive. The 2.0 has a wider range of minimum BSFC, so people who don't drive optimally might see a bigger difference... while people who drive aggressively might see no difference at all.

Mga Sir, maiba naman, i have a problem with my explorer

Brought my unit sa Ford Makati to have it checked for the squeeking sound sa front, mga after3 trials, they diagnosed it as a windshield problem na dapat daw i re-seal, so iniwan ko sa casa after 3 days tinawagan ako and informed me na may maliit na crack daw sa bottom part ng windshield sa loob at kailangan paltan ang buong windshield, pwede ko daw ilabas muna yung car habang hinihintay ang parts, pag kuha ko ng car napansin ko may malaking crack na sa windshield na wala dati and pinagpipilitan nila na gumapang daw ang crack habang tine test drive nila ang unit, anong action ba ang pwede gawin dito? I was telling them na hindi pwedeng ganun kabilis mag crack yun at mukhang may mishandling sa pag gawa pero siyempre walang uma amin. the car is less than 5 months, was actually asking for a replacement since hindi lang yun ang problem, pero hindi daw pwede yun, may law ba tayo na pwede ipang tapat duon? thanks.
