didn't replace my battery, called ford global to make sure and they advice me to bring it in so they could check it first before i replace anything. and luckily i did because they will replace the battery free of charge since kasama daw sa warranty ang battery. will pick up the car tomorrow.

every 8 months PMS ko since i never reach 5k km. tuwing kelan ka ba nag papa PMS?

Twice pa lang ako nagpa-PMS... first was yung 1,000 km then 5,000 km plus para dun sa 5K PMS tapos dyan ako sinabihan na dapat every 6 months (or 5,000 km) ang PMS. Lugi naman ako pag every 6 months ako magpa-PMS and walang logic to follow time-based PMS kung konti lang ang mileage na tinakbo.

problem ko naman ngayon inaantay pa din approval ng main plant nila so since tuesday till now na sa kanila na explorer ko. battery lang ganon katagal explorer ko sa kanila, pano pa kaya pag ibang warranty claim na.

had the tsb for foul odor smell done at ford global, i you haven't had this done to your explorer yet i suggest you do. it decreased the smell a lot plus kelangan babad ka sa high rpm before you can smell it unlike before once i hit 4k rpm automatically mangangamoy agad. i hope by the next tsb they will be able to eliminate the smell completely.

The fix takes 2-3 days. Better if you set up an appointment and let them know what the TSBs you want done (Exhaust Smell 12-12-04 and Egg Smell/Coolant Smell 12-8-8) so they can order the parts already. I recommend FORD Alabang kasi sanay sila and they work closely with the FORD plant mismo.

On different note, just when I was starting to enjoy our ride more and more and these issues suddenly propped up:

1) Dual Moon Roof rattle
2) Windshield noise is back
3) Smell still is present but better than before

Hoping and praying FORD will finally resolve all these issues.

By the way, I recently saw the newer EX models have a seat in the second row (behind the front passenger seat) that goes forward and backward. Nice!

good day guys recently got my 3.5 limited explorer and i have been driving it for a week now. i just couldn't believe that my unit only clocks 300kms on a full tank. is the consumption the same as yours? or there must be something wrong with my unit? any feed back will truly be appreciated

before break-in period i got the same FC on a full tank but after a while it got better. now i get around 420kms on a full tank and i have a heavy foot as well.

1,000 km, mine didn't improve as soon as break-in period ended but it slowly improved over the months/years i've own it.

Bro, the DVD headrest comes with 2 remote and 2 wireless headsets.

Hi all just got my Explorer Limited last thursday and i must say i am loving it only downside that ive noticed is the gas tank cover (No Lock)
aside from that all else is perfect just wanna ask you guys does the DVD headrest come with a remote? cant seem to find the volume function hehehe and from what ive red in one of the post one members Explorer came with a wireless headset is this true?

Question: what fuel octane did you fill up and what brand?

City driving i can do 400kms on a full tank. that's about 5.85km/ltr. sa highway and city combined I average 7.25 kms/liter.

Go to settings and go to info system. the update is 3.5.2. My version is 3.0.2 ata. I'm taking our EX to FORD Alabang this weekend for the Fuel Delivery Module recall, MFT Update and 20K PMS (kahit na 11K pa lang ako). I might also bring to their attention the noise coming from the windshield and the moon roof rattle.
