Just want to share my current experience sa Devil's Own WA injection, initially had problems with the proper boost tap and sa boost controller, wala daw pala wastegate monty VGT that's why different tap niya from non vgt monty which the installers are used to. Currently enjoying its benefits for more than a month now. Sir dvldoc is also a bighelp (ok na customer support!) on my PMs and emails.
Primary goals in installing the injection are the cleaning benefits and lower EGT, but what I can currently appreciate is the added oomph! when you step on the accelerator near the 2K RPM range and above compared pag naka off siya (has a switch to activate it if i need it). That's why I rarely turn it off except if I am expecting that the tank will be nearly empty(pag nakalimutan magrefill) . Installed a 5 Liter tank and so far di pa naman ako nauubusan sa byahe, longest continuous distance I travelled with the injection activated is going back and forth sa QC and San Miguel Bulacan (approx 150 kms.) Managed to used approx. 1/2 nung tank.
You can just turn the start and full point knobs up higher than the amount of boost you make and the system will stay off.
Glad your enjoying the system, Watch out when you get your next emissions test, they will think there is something wrong with there machine and rev the crap out of your ride. Let them know before hand your emissions will be much lower than a average diesel.
I got a 0.25 on my in Feb.
dvldoc,
I'm contemplating on putting this devilsown on my truck (Crosswind) but my concern is the placement of the tank which will be at the back of my truck (3rd row seat). Will this be a problem? How much gain do I expect on this on my primitive engine.
I have one installed on Pajero FM and I have no problem so far.
Thanks,
Sorry to meddle in your queries, another option would be to get an old washer fluid container and have it installed in your engine bay:
i can place approx 1.5 gallons of a 50/50 mix in that old washer fluid container which you can get in your automotive surplus store, got mine for P200 without the pump.
You will need at least a gallon size container to enjoy the use devilsown for a long haul. Awkward kasi na tigil ka ng tigil sa gas station para mag refill kung small yung container katulad ng normal washer container.
Response ng FM is quite very good. Feel mo yung sprint niya pag nag boost na yung turbo with the help ng devilsown. Hindi ka mahuhuli. But with the crosswind engine I'm not sure na its worth na install. Talangang makupad ang engine niya lalo ba AT siya. Tapos sa likod pa installation ng tank kasi walang room sa engine bay unlike sa FM!![]()
cb stage 1 lang yung sa akin. Eto yung pics. Not so sure sa FC kasi type ko i accelarate agad siya!

do we have any feedback or users of DevilsOwn on NA engines na? very interested in having this one installed...
I see you found a kit and got it installed, Good to hear. So hows the difference in vehicle performance? Also make sure when you do your next emission test you let them know it will read very low due to the kit or they will rev the heck out of your motor because they think the machine is reading wrong.
And be sure to change your oil at 1000k because the kit will have cleaned all the old carbon and soot build up in the engine out.
dvldoc. i was the one who PMed you about alcohol injection. i havent installed one yet. i am still reading on which kit to get. from the foreign forums, i read that the stage2 kit will be "more beneficial" since you can control when will the kit activate. and in stage 1, it is boost activated and its either all or nothing kit. i am still confused on which kit to get.
also, as the poster above suggested, i still need to replace my intercooler hoses to metal since the OEM are rubber hoses.
thanks!
Both kits will give you the same overall power and cooling when spraying on full, The Stage 1 is of course cheaper and simply comes on at a certain boost point. Stage 2 allows you to fine tune the kit of when it activates and when it comes on full and you will use less fluid and have in car control of the system and can monitor it. Speedlab carries only the Stage ones Berrmia Diesel has the Stage 2 kits.
