u should have one for any modded turbo vehicle.
True.
For one, and this is not even water/alcohol injection related, you'll be able to tell if there is a boost leak in your modded system. You'll also know if you're boosting too high, if you've installed a boost controller and cranked it up too much.
For the water/alcohol injection part, it will help determine if indeed you are triggering the alcohol pump at the right PSI. Yes, there is a pressure switch with the kit, but I would think it would be easier to note and prove via the boost gauge if indeed the pressure switch is working correctly. Also, it will help you if you decide to tweak your settings.
Just in case you wondered how well water is atomized check out the new nozzles. This is just me messing around in the shop doing a comparison, I am very happy with the new nozzles. The one on the left is a 10gph the new one I was playing with is our 7gph. I run a 7gph and a 2gph in my Elgrand.
doc, the kit that i ordered for my 4m40 is already on its way to manila via balikbayan box.
regarding installation, would like to know if you would suggest berrima or i can have it installed by other mechanic?
It's really not that hard to install, The directions are very good and detailed. Follow them and you will be ok. If you got the progressive controller just make sure your ignition 12v constant for the orange wire does not cut on and off when the ignition is cranked.
what causes moisture formation on the alcohol/water stainless tank? what can be done to minimize or avoid it? thanks
Humidity, Mine does not do that though because the Elgrand is a lot more sealed up on the inside than the crosswind.
Here's are booth at SEMA, The guys from Speedlab were also there.

Sir Dvldoc may I know if you have any distributor/installer here in cebu because i want 1 to be installed on my turbo diesel liteace. And If you do have an installer here may i know how much is the entire kit?

I think he only has WAI on his crosswind. When you get your vehicle tuned then the alcohol injection it makes a world of difference. Plus it can tell you if there is something wrong.
When I went back for a dyno in July I found out my MAF sensor was bad and I lost like 35hp over stock just from that. The alcohol injection put back 35hp even with the Bad MAF. Got that fixed and man what a difference.
85hp at the wheels is what a 4m40 normally gets.
I think there TQ numbers are way off on that dyno though.

Dvldoc,
I have a Stage 1 set up that I'd like to have a dealer check out. Will Berrima check out my install and propose changes? Or will they only touch what they installed?
