Yes Luberfiner is a quality filter, I use them as well. I'm using there imperial XL series as part of my dual bypass system they are 5 micron filters, I replaced my other side with the LF9028 fleetguard Venturi bypass filter which is about as good as it gets.

Luberfiner are for fleet service just like Baldwin and Fleetguard, they are not over the counter filters you can get in a autoparts store.

The black ones are my Luberfiners

    Here's a 4M40 filter from Luberfiner.

Top 1 diesel oil is great for gas and diesel since it's additive package is not to aggressive with the Zinc 1200ppm is perfect. Diesel oils have higher detergents as well so they will keep your engine cleaner so you can use that in all your vehicles.

You defiantly do not want to use the 20w50 oil in your engines unless it's a older worn out diesel. If the oil is the new API SJ rated oil you don't want that stuff it's weak sauce there zinc is around 850ppm to 900ppm and Phos way down in the 600ppm range. They do put in around 40ppm moly and some boron to make up for it a little. Not really the best oil out there.

Don't know about there diesel oil I would have to dig up a spec sheet the MSDS do not state the exact formulation but a range.
dvldoc, how about this top1 diesel oil, can I use this in both 2nz-fe and 1tr-fe gasoline engines? this is the semi-synthetic diesel oil.

As for the filter, with the Vios, im just worried that if its too long, it might hit potholes, which might cause problems. as for the size, the important thing is that they have the same size(3/4-16UNF) right? . the Oring gasket size(54x62rnd) is not important?

i use bt233 for the 2 vios with 1NZFE 2NZFE engines and corolla with 2e engine. fits well. no leaks.

i wouldnt worry about it hitting potholes. malayo pa yung oil filter. unang tatamaan yung oil pan. besides bt223 is only about an inch longer and the metal casing seems sturdy enough

That's because that filter is a fake. I'm also sure it has no country of origin, was not wrapped in plastic and did not have the proper date code on the top of the filter.

BT223 Costs P215 sa volmax. dont bother asking about the b33 wala sila stock nun. hehehe

its a perfect filter in terms of cost imho. a replacement vic costs 180. An original toyota cost 315 sa casa. a baldwin bt223, which is superior than any one of the 2 costs only 215. at 3k kms, my oil still looks fresh

im using regular toyota oil or idemitsu oil. mineral lang.

That's the big difference between a 40 micron filter vs one that well down to 12 microns, you will really notice a difference over a VIC filter the oil pretty much stays a nice golden brown vs black on a gas engine.
