Ang bypass valve ng para sa corolla around 14 psid by pass valve. Pwede ka mag 8psid or 20 psid.
Yung 30 psid masyado na malayo.

From what I've read sa mga forums about filters, bpv will only engage if media is fully clogged. Yun bang very dirty ang oil na hindi change for a long time at driving condition is very severe, dusty, may fuel dilution, heavily sludged engine, in short, present lahat factors para clog ang filter, wala naman ganun ang engine ko.
For three months, very normal ang gamit ng walang bpv, what more kung meron pa, kahit mataas ang setting. Confident ako sa high capacity property ng Baldwin compared sa other commonly used filters locally.
I've used 8 psid bpv filter before, B131, maitim agad oil, think ko, easily engage ang bpv, passing unfiltered oil at high rpm.
Just my experience...

That's why, no worries for me.
I also sent email to Baldwin, sabi, if you don't want to worry, use one of the same bpv setting as OEM, 14 psid, but also insinuate, you can't go wrong with the high debris carrying capacity of B143 and B178 with excellent filter media, unless you have a very dirty engine.
Rule of thumb sa OP, 10psi every 1k rpm. Kung 14psi ang bpv ng oil filter, cruising at 2k rpm, kung maliit filter used at malapit na end of oci, sa sudden acceleration, say, umabot 3k rpm, maybe the bpv will engage, lusot unfiltered oil.

Yung b243 ok din 8psi bypass valve.
Meron pa isa mahaba 14psi by pass valve nalimutan ko code.
Preferred ko Baldwin oil filters with 20 psid and above na bpv setting, 80 mm casing outside diameter, 65mm-70mm outside diameter ng gasket, kahit 130mm long, will fit my 4AFE.

B1402 - Php 360 last year (dont know this year).
Alternative
Bosch OF415 - Php 150 (amazon)
Ano code yan bosch na 200 pesos?
Yung b1402 nasa 350 pesos yan sa banawe seller.
It was 350 back in 2012. If I'm not mistaken, it was 320 before that.
As for the OF415, I did not get to check its country of origin bec. I just asked the messenger to inquire.
Not all Bosch are made in Korea. Some are also made in indonesia ie. OK 064
Pls PM me contacts of your banawe supplier. Thanks!
San ba makakabili ng bosch oil filters. Yung malapit sa Marikina
Stock Engine Modified Driver...
Tol parang alam q yan huh. Sa may mlapit sa sta lucia. Orig kaya filter dun?
Stock Engine Modified Driver...
For L300 4D56. Made in Korea.
BF7534 is a bit pricey now so I needed an alternative to it and VIC.
Baldwin looks to have a better quality both externally and internally. But remember Bosch is only Php 350 vs. triple that for the Baldwin.
Baldwin has much better pleats than this one. Filtration material in the Bosch looks like it was rolled inside.
Bosch dedicates about an inch space on the bottom part to serve as water storage. I don't recall seeing this kind of feature in Baldwin or VIC. I'm not if there is any benefit with this design.
Question mga sir...if ever i remove or replace the oil filter with engine oil still present, tutulo ba pag tinanggal ko? TIA! :-)
Thank you sir RY Tower! :-)
