I've put 200ml+ castrol activ 2t with seaoil exceed diesel (fulltank) on our '08 isuzu sportivo. 23km so far, di ko pa ramdam yung quieter engine sound. Yung exhaust smoke naman mejo nawala while running. Pero pag ni-rev ko at stand still maitim ang usok. I don't know kung ganun talaga or i still have to wait for the effects to kick in.

Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks!

i don't know how many liters to fill your sportivo to make it full tank, but from what I understand through my back reading here you need 200 ml of 2T oil per 40 liters of diesel.

tuloy mo lang. kung hindi man magbago andar e sa PM emission (opacity) mo makikita results. aside from this thread here in PH, foreign threads claim na prolonged lifespan (lower wear and tear) ang mga injection pump lalo na ang nozzles.

wag mo ring kalimutan magpalit ng fuel filter after many kms, say 1000km? 2000km? etc....your choice. due to the cleaning powers ng 2T e hahagurin ang mga dumi magmula fuel tank down to the fuel lines.

take note sa mga naka late version crdi (higher pressures than the earlier gen crdi), afaik hindi advisable ang 2T (as per dvldoc). tama ba ako?

Thanks! I'll keep you posted if i felt the improvements. Sana mawala yung black smoke when revving at full stop. I'm also planning to use this on our elf trucks (eagle and 4BC2) kung maging maganda ang results.

    Questions:
1 beses lang naman nagpapalit ng fuel filter after using 2t diba?

Does the exhaust scent depends on which 2t brand used? Inaamoy ko kanina ung exhaust pero amoy usok ng jeep parin.

    Thanks in advance!

    1. You still have to change fuel filters on the recommended intervals.

    2. Yes, per experience. After using caltex 2t, the smoke coming from my exhaust had some sort of bubble gum smell. But you must have the correct ratio.

using it on old school diesel engines will result in some improvement in engine noise, vibration and emission as per my experience. But don't take my word for it. Try it and give us feedback...

Sorry... What i meant was besides the recommended change intervals of the fuel filter, do i have to change it everytime i put 2t or 1x lang? Then after that, yung recommended change interval na. Thanks!

You do not have to change the fuel filter everytime you put 2t.

siguro closer intervals on the 2nd and/or 3rd replacement (with respect to the 1st filter change) if using 2T regularly lalu na kung yung light duty filters ang gamit mo (use bosch filters as a minimum). pwedeng pwede sa nakagawian mong interval (or even longer) on heavy duty filters (baldwin, fleetguard, donaldson, etc.).

sa akin kasi, bosch ang gamit ko na fuel filter. 1x a year ko sya pinapalitan. 15k kms or less in a year ang takbo ng kabayo ko.

hindi na cost effective kung palit ka ng filter everytime na magfillup ka ng 2T.

    for your reference.

Mixing 2t has no relevance on how frequent you should change fuel filter. 2t mixes well with diesel, it doesn't change the density or thickens viscosity-enough to plug the filter element or obstruct fuel flow.
