    6 mos. of use is more than adequate time. I noticed a significant difference the following day after adding it to my tank. I don't understand as to why it didn't work for you. I would have to take a closer look at those injector pipes and hopefully no leaking oil. Appreciate your input.

    No problem *kraulto. Im thinking about trying it out again. Just to satisfy my curiosity as to the prrofrmance boost by adding 2t in diesel fuel.

    On another note bro, how much did you spend for overhaul? I also have a paj 97 local 4d56.

    Hopefully, this time around 2T will work for you. Spent total P106,690, labor and parts, all OEM. If ever the time comes that your engine needs an OH, can't stress enough the value and necessity of a TRUSTED mechanic. An unfortunate event i experienced, resulting in the early demise of my engine considering it was OH on 7/27/12, it was a simple oil leak but the mechanic told me it needed an OH, and then a 2nd one 10/25/2012, wherein the engine actually seized on me while on the NLEX, performed by the same mechanic as back job. Almost lost faith in all mechanics til i met my current mechanic. So in reality, this is the 3rd OH.

    Very sorry to hear that sir. Why not try the services of known pajero mechanic like the guru, engr. Joseph atutubo? Just my thoughts po. Gd am po.

    Thanks for the suggestion but tried him once, and never again. Very frustrating since he was highly recommended. Without going into specifics, he conducted himself in an extremely unprofessional manner, and his demeanor was unbelievably appalling.

    I apologize for my rant and veer off topic. Any hypothesis on the possibility that 2t could've added to the early demise of my Injection Pump and is there any such detriment in using 2T for overhauled engines and newly calibrated IP's?

    The Engine displays Blow By symptoms. Since engine was already being overhauled, had the Injection Pump checked out. It was calibrated, gaskets and nozzles replaced, but not overhauled.

    Okay sir. Naiba ba talaga takbo sa caltex? Long time shell fuelsave user din ako e. Maybe its time to try caltex din?

    ganito din ako bro, Petron diesel naman. long time shell fuel save user din ako, nung kinapos sa fuel, no choice na kaya napakarga sa Petron. laking gulat ko din na mas responsive sa fuel save kahit walang 2T.

    oo bro. sa dalawang naming sasakyan, innova at hilux (2L). doon sa hilux ko, mas matipid yung Petron diesel max with 2T compared sa Shell fuel save with 2T.

    2T ko pala ay Shell. kahit mapa Petron o Shell ang diesel na gamit ko.

    even Innova, Fortuners , Montero and Santa Fe na mas modern na yun CRDI engine e pwedeng pwede

    just be mindful lang ng Ratio and your ride will be fine

    Ash content of 2t oil is even lower thAn the ash content of diesel...
