*Dieseldude.
sir have you heard/read of the 2T oil added into diesel fuel? may mga presentation na (scientifically daw) tested and it improves lubrication, etc. etc.
I was wondering dahil kung makakatulong why not? kung placebo naman, sayang ang pera pero unti lang naman. Parang 1/2L to a tank or mga 65 pesos e 1/2 liter diesel mga 15++ pesos na so mga 50 pesos a tank nasayang.
what do you suggestion sir?
TIA

My Dear Sir jon2:
Just to clear things up, I did not at any time specifically say or mention the design opening pressure of the RF diesel nozzles - as I don't know them myself.
I believe you were referring to an old post of mine where I pointed out that OLDER diesel engines with Indirect Injection systems (like mine) generally operate at lower injection pressures than the NEW common-rail designs.
I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.
I do NOT propose to give advice on subjects on which I do not have knowledge or experience, nor do I presume to second guess professional calibrators like Sir Jake.
Sincerely,
Dusky Lim

sir have you heard/read of the 2T oil added into diesel fuel? may mga presentation na (scientifically daw) tested and it improves lubrication, etc. etc. Never heard of adding 2T oil. I've heard of large truck fleets in the US who had been adding up to 4% used oil to their saddle tanks for years with no problems at all. This was during the mid 80s.
Ingat lang tayo lahat. When in doubt, don't.Last edited by Dieseldude; March 7th, 2010 at 11:56 AM. Reason: correct some texts
