Has anyone inquired or any feedback on Hancars and their sales of Tesla Cars?
i just found out they were selling them a few weeks ago.

if I remember correctly, only the 30% import duty was removed from EVs
may sales tax pa din, VAT etc
no experience with Han Cars, pero 3.9M is a very good price. I wonder if you really went to their showroom and inquire... minsan kasi they will give a price, pero the unit is reserved or not for sale.
Is this even a legitimate source? As far as I can recall, Nissan PH president seemed to have mentioned that the EO would cut it down by 300k php at most. Going down to 1.9m php seems unlikely and simply looks like they just did 2.8m php times 0.70 and got 1.96m php, not considering any other factors. I do not want to click the link as I don't know about that website at all. But, if that is genuinely true, I would expect it to be rumored from sites like CG and AI, even Visor at least where it would gain traction.
My two cents.
EDIT: CG Article that raised the figure of 230k
https://www.car guide.ph/2023/01/nissan-ph-confirms-leaf-ev-price.html
"That said, the reduction in price is said to be anywhere between 1 to 8 percent which could mean a reduction of up to P 230,000 on the Leaf. Potentially, this could bring its price down to a (slightly) more palatable price of P 2,574,000." as quoted from the article.
Got the link from a friend, and they have the newest article out of the car news sites. CG was March 1, AF was March 16.
Anyways let's see what happens. If it does become reality then that's a major scoop and great news.

The official list of coding exempted EVs and Hybrids have officially been released by DoE.

Yung mga naka mild hybrids like Ertiga, Okavango etc not included.

You may check DoE Facebook page for their August 4 post.
I think, if I'm not mistaken, best case scenario ng mga Mild HEV, is improving FC compared to ICE only by about 10 to 15% improvement. Pero kung mababa na talaga yung ICE FC mo say 7km/l to 8km/l, ang naimprove mo is about 0.7/0.8km/l increase to a maximum of 1.05/1.2km/l. May benefit, but not as significant, plus wala na coding exemption so medyo masama loob nila sigurado.
Ang tanong ngayon sa LTO CR ng ertiga din kasi, alala ko may clarification dati sa CG na hybrid nakalagay sa CR. so papaano yun?
At least now it's clear w/c vehicles are in the exemptions list. Everyone interested in this important topic can now be guided accordingly and thus proceed w/ certainty.
Medyo I just feel for those who jumped the gun and made a blind leap. Medyo dismayado panigurado
