Yeah malapit na nga. ok lang naman i phase out nila e. Forced to buy XCS nalang i guess.
only CALTEX nalang ata(as i know) sells REAL, non-10% ethanol unleaded.
XCS+, blaze, shell super prenium, caltex gold and silver nalang ang non-10% ethanol blended..
according to Shell Araneta ave cor Maria Clara QC
shell super unleaded wala ethanol
V power meron ethanol
Yup, recently as I ran out of fuel, I went to the nearest gas station which happened to be Shell, to load up a few 95 octane fuel, until I get to my usual gas station. To my surprise, their V-Power was labeled with E10. I asked the attendant na E10 na ba yung velocity nila. Did not risk it anymore, and went to the next gas station instead. Buti na lang umabot.
Petron does label its products properly. May prominent sticker just above the Unleaded pump, clearly stating na may halong Ethanol yung unleaded nila, and recommended for EFI engines. I should know, naka-Petron Fleetcard kami for almost 2 years na (dati kasi Shell), and I'm quite particular about the fuel I load in my cars.
Going by the thread title kasi, Petron did nothing wrong. There was no false advertisement.
Petron Shaw Blvd...is this the one sa may Wack-Wack? Not sure kung meron pa sa may bandang Kapitolyo which is Shaw Blvd pa rin yata.
The Petron in EDSA Greenhills also confused me. Initially when they phased out all the regular unleaded, there were green colored e10 stickers beside the label "xtra".
Last week when I gassed up, those green colored stickers were not present anymore but I looked around and there was a yellow sticker on top explaining that their unleaded fuel has ethanol blablabla.
I guess not a lot of people want e10.
