You wont notice it because it is about a 1.5-2% decrease in mileage at 10% ethanol level.

OO compatible ang E10 sa 07 City mo. Bago naman ang ride mo eh.

    thanks for all the responses.

    how very informative.

guess I'll just have to stick with unleaded, for now.

safe ba E10 for all cars? kasi Honda is promoting na E10 compatible ang cars niya but reps are saying not all brands are E10 compatible daw. Pag mali ang klase ng gas sa car, baka masira ang makina. Namimili pa yata ang E10. di yata puwede sa lahat.

jeez. so all the non-E10 compatible cars will now be forced to use stuff like V-power?

    nice strategy.

for me mas maganda tunog ng makina ko mas quieter, pero mas mahina nga bumatak. ewan ko lang fuel consumption parang the same lang.

i am using straight Caltex before Gold and now Silver and based on their website...http://www.caltex.com/ph/en/Highlight_e10.asp

"If you own a vehicle with a carburetor-type engine, we strongly advice you to consult your car dealer or manufacturer about its compatibility with E10 products"

ouch! I might be forced to go back to Gold...

I usually load up with petron's e10. its the cheapest 95ron available. ok naman pero I seem to get less mileage compared to XCS and Blaze.

careful lang sa pagpalit-palit ng gas type as this may affect not only the performacne of your car but can also give problem as i have & some had experience.

my experience on my gen 1 crv, i change gas from unleade to xcs. after a few tanks, hard starting na. ang dami kong napalitan to get it fixed, it ended up to going back to unleaded to get ack to it's optimum , worry free performance. i have read the same experience from some kotse members , with one on his new jazz.
just sharing our experiences, kaya just take note if ever you decide to change, note down the performance of current, then record the experience in case magkaroon ng problem later.

This is just a copy of my thread on the other forum....I posted it on the wrong forum....sorry

Kani Kanina lang, magpapakarga sana ako sa petron kamias.....but suddenly I was shocked because the gasboy informed me that they will no longer sell Xtra Unleaded. So I decided not to be gased-up.
Tomorrow, i`ll just look at other petron stations if their unleaded is still available.........

If not, maybe ill switch to XCS Plus ..........am I making the right decision?

The reason why I decided not to take E10 ifever is because I have read some threads here that saying E10 gasoline lessens power and makes the car`s FC worse.......

I hope other petron stations don`t do the same thing...........

yung shell dito sa amin, last december nagsabi ng ganyana yung gasboy. kasi at that time wala silang stock, but till now meron pa silang unleaded. so alin ba ang totoo? will unleaded be phased out or not? or phased out ng gasboy kasi walang stock

yung petron pala sa p. Guevarra, san juan. Lahat ng pump ng E10 ang laman xtra unleaded, di na sila nagbenta ng E10 kasi wala daw bumibili.

afaik, all low-end regular unleadeds will be replaced by the e10 variant.
non-e10 compatible units should use the next higher variant, in which, this case, for Petron, its the XCS, for Shell, the Red one, and for Caltex, its the Gold.

i tried 4 petron stations on my way home, from Makati to Pasig, and they said the same thing. No more Xtra unleaded. kahapon lang ren to.

i ended up gassing up with XCS, which was P3 higher than the 30.25 Xtra unleaded price. hayz.... E10 is not an option for me, kasi marami may sabi na nakakasira daw ng catalyctic converter ang E10 sa sentra which is my daily drive. hayz.... bad trip....

dito din sa alabang area, wala ng Xtra sa Petron. They changed the pump to E10.
