Yes, there is a curing time - if your painter didn't give you any details, best to wait 90 days.

Looks like Collinite 840 cleaner wax is too abrasive based on user forum reviews.

What do you mean abrasive? Sapphire wax ranks as a typical cleaner (in fact, it's not a dedicated cleaner but an AIO rather) so it's at the bottom of the abrasive chart. Refer to autogeek's abrasion chart: Autogeek Swirl Removers & Compounds Comparison Chart

Kung habol mo cleaning properties, there are better ones out there especially dedicated cleaners such as Klasse AIO. But if you're looking for a polish-glaze-seal (all in one) then thumbs up ako sa Sapphire. My two most "used" detailing regimen is the Collinite 840+845 combo or the KAIO+KSG one.

Thanks for the info. Concerned lang ako why Collinite does not recommend 840 on dark clear coats. I have a silver car BTW. Curious lang

Got no idea either. I guess they formulated it talaga for single-stage paint. There's always KAIO naman for dark paint eh

Correction: 840 is their dedicated cleaner pala.. I was thinking of their Sapphire WAX which was the AIO.

I've heard about them but never tried them yet. All I can say is that seems like marketing hype to me. You only polish when necessary. And kahit ano gawin mo, you won't remain swirl or scratch-free for a year.

gawa ka ng paraan for a sturdy platform that will support your weight... before used to stand on the tire but I can't seem to get to all of the areas, plus parang ma-ooblong yung gulong pag tinuloy ko siyang gawing tungtungan hehe.

It's actually a sealant with some mild cleaners - from what I've read, it's reasonably durable, though looks are a bit flat. That one year durability claim may be a bit exaggerated though - perhaps in some areas in the US, but definitely not in the Philippines.

Oo nga eh. I have one though kaso hindi naman flat surface yung garage namin so i'll stick with monobloc nalang. hehe
