Now look on this one. Another solution to the never ending traffic problem

:hammer:

I really love it that it's always the middle class that gets the shaft.

the 4-day work week is good... some private companies (manufacturing) implements this... but you will work 10 hours per day to compensate..

the suggestion is alternate per city.. this is good especially if you have papers to process say in pasay and you live in makati

This is true. I used to go to Baclaran regularly pero nung hindi na si Bayani ang Chairman magulo na masyado. Wala ng maparadahan. Hindi nila maclear yung illegal vendors

C5 has a lot of bottlenecks caused by poor road planning, some u-turn slots, and PUJs.

This is quite true. It's always the middle class getting hit hard when it comes to issues such as taxes, traffic and squatters.

I did a check on my cars and i'm gonna lose 2 out of 3 cars on Mondays. Maka bili nga ng isa pa... hehe. ====> That's what a lot will do and who's the winner? Brand new and second hand car dealers.

Someone better send Mr. Tolentino back to Tagaytay. He never did solve the traffic problem on it's one main road before. He can start there.

Why dont they just find a way to tax those who pass edsa
In London, they have a "Congestion Charge" which is 10p (p670?) makes they skyway look cheap
They should implement a way of taxation instead

may update na ba regarding this brilliant idea?

for me kamay na bakal lang, implement the law put a stricter and higher fine

    ending disiplinado ang tao.

behind the steering wheel lahat tayo pare-pareho.

Majority dito tayo private car owners kaya lahat tayo dito "bawasan ang bus and jeep"

how about on the masses side? and they compose majority of the population.

    I like the idea of

fixing and putting up an efficient mass transpo

kaso in reality that's a very very loong shot.

and we are not living in a perfect world

might as well simplify it na lang.

kaso mahirap na talaga disiplinahin ang pinoy.

Ok naman si Bayani dati except for the elevated u turn slot na pinagpilitan nya sa C5/Kalayaan intersection.

sobrang corrupt din daw yan. the elevated foot bridge in Q.Ave cor. Araneta ave, 40M daw yung budget. tapos may steel company si BF, sila supplier ng MMDA.

Good example and here are the reasons why:

    1. Uneven ang lanes numbers, 4 lanes biglang maging 2 lanes like approaching Ortigas overpass & Pasig river.
Site is below elevated U turn going Pasig.
    3. Ang Daming U-turn slot along the way. Why they don;t want to do that, masisira ang business ng mga resto at Mall sa area.
    4. This is the passage way for trucks going SLEX to NLEX vice-versa. They should connect Skyway up to NLEX. Why they don;t want to do that? kasi by the time matapos yun, wala na sila sa pwesto, iba na ang makikinabang ng pogi points.

Kaya gusto nila short term solution lahat.

    Dear MMDA...

2 easy solutions to end traffic in EDSA...

    1. Require comprehensive insurance to ALL vehicles IF their owners reside within Metro Manila...

    2. Privatize EDSA and charge TOLL!

    Explanation for item #1

If ALL vehicles have comprehensive insurance, it will be almost NOT practical to maintain an old car for coding alone.

I don't think #2 needs explanation... BUT both solutions are cheaper and better than buying another car for coding...

Really, his that stupid to mention that? Why does he think paying to pass by edsa will improve traffic? What if it did not, eh di gastos lang na walang katuturan or in other words, kotong na naman. pas hindi effective ito, pwede ba cyang magpakamatay na lang since his good for nothing and waste of juan dela cruz money.

This is true for all provinces around the metro. Simply because walang long term or master plan na sinusunod. That's how poor the mind set ng mg LGUs. Look at Sta Rosa, Yung going to tagaytay road, lalapad then kikitid then lalapad then kikitid. Sino ang nagpalapad, private entities. Yung part ng goverment, wala na. Yung going bayan naman on the other side, wala ng magawa palaparin ng goverment, Magdusa na lang kayo and yet they brag about their city incomes. Aside from the national road is pestered by reckless tricycle drivers.

Typical example of lingas kugon. Magaling lang sa una, walang sustainability. Why, because the LGUs are in cahoots.

So if you look at all these, is coding the answer ?

    I beg to disagree.

    1. All my cars are comprehensive though the oldest is 2004. It's not about practicality, it's about peace of mind.
    2. The Skyway is i should say the most expensive road to pass through in the metro but yet why is it that during peak hours, a lot would take it despite traffic build up at toll gate. The point is, they can assure no traffic despite the toll by all means but kung magkakatrpik din naman eh, kotong lang ang tawg dun. Besides, where is the alternative roads ? Wala or very narrow thus dun lilipat ang trapik. Cost will never be a deterent, only laws.
