Mr. Tolentino, corruption pa rin ang dahilan ng EDSA traffic - colorum buses ang malaking dahilan, wag kayong mag bulag bulagan dito. Subukan nyo mag spot check sa Guadalupe, Boni o Ortigas maraming nagsasakay/nagbababa na bus sa hindi nila bus stop, wala namang ginagawa ang mga blue boys, pito at pakaway kaway lang mga mokong. Meron na akong nakausap na driver ng bus, tinawanan lang niya yung Bus A/Bus B na segregation - sabi nya "wala yun, napapag usapan naman yan" Alam mo na - "SOP"
MMDA mismo ang umaamin na milyon milyon araw araw ang nawawala dahil sa trapik, hindi kaya ang malaking dahilan nun ay ang hindi pag enforce ng batas? Wag kayong magtuturo sa mga private motorists na siyang dahilan ng traffic, yung apat na daliri nyo nakaturo sa inyo.

sobrang traffic.
on a bad day, from zapote to alabang center can take you an hour to an hour an a half.
compared to around 20 minutes at night time.
kaya may friendship route eh, to lessen the traffic at alabang zapote road. kaya lang, sira suspension mo sa dami ng humps.

MMDA sana ito muna atupagin niyo:
1. Bawasan ang mga Bus at Jeep sa EDSA - araw-araw ako dumadaan dito at talagang choking points na gawa ng mga naghihintay na bus ang primary reason kaya mabigat ang trapik sa EDSA
2. Tanggalin lahat ng obstruction sa kalye - illegal terminal, illegal parking, street vendors, mga kalat ng construction, illegal settlers, etc. etc.
3. Ito para sa LTO: upgrade ang minimum educational requirements ng mga professional licensees - dapat at least high school graduate with proof na diploma or transcript
4. Ayusin ang mga U-turn slots - dapat flyover u-turn na pareho doon sa C-5 ang gawin
5. Enforce the RULES and IMPLEMENT them EFFECTIVELY
Itong traffic na ito - parusa sa lahat

+1 Agree. Pero kung may gagawing U-turn flyover tulad ng sa C5, ayusin naman nila ang pagkakagawa. Ampucha! Mali na nga yung sukat, naka-reverse bank pa. Instead of iikot ka with the u-turn, pagdating mo sa taas, pabaliktad pa ang tilapon mo.
Hindi ba nakakalito itong modified number coding? May ganito ka na, may regular na number coding ka pa for all other areas. Grrr! WTF is he smokin'?!
Like in beni's pic, it's really the buses who cause crazy traffic! BF had a point before, fence them in to keep them in line. That yellow line won't work unless it's got spikes. If they can't reduce their numbers, and they can't discipline them, might as well isolate them amongst themselves so the other lanes, though congested, would flow more smoothly. Coz when a car changes lanes, it's just the lane where it's moving to that's affected, but when a bus changes lanes, it affects at least 2.
