in fairness sa macapagal ave. speed limit. it's still being properly enforced, nahuli kami nang officemate ko for overspeeding yesterday...
guess the speed? she was running 73kph for 384 meters which they showed sa camera laser gun nila... WTF? kaya nga siguro nata traffic dyan sa macapagal, ang luwag nang daan, ang kupad nang mga sasakyan, they should at least increase the limit from 60kph to 80 kph.
pwede naman po gumising ng mas maaga para di sumubay sa buhos ng tao. apart from the huge volume of buses, kawalan ng disiplina ng mga commuters ang dahilan ng trapik. kung saan bawal dun sumasakay at bumababa.
buwiset na bwiset ako sa mga taong ayaw maglakad to the point na ma inconvenience mo ibang pasahero at ibang motorista.
Hahaha! Mas mabilis pa nga ang mga bisikleta during early morning weekends.
+1 . If it's a free-for-all, it's very hard to follow the rules or even common courtesy.
They're really not into informing the general public about the details of their plans...siguro binigla nila para walang makakontra(don't see the point though, since they're gonna do it anyways).
Di ba pwede i staggered yung pag implement yan, i.e. isang linya ng bus muna, see what happens, adjust, add another line, etc.?
Does this mean walang provision for transfer to city buses/jeeps/vans doon sa loob ng terminal? Passengers have to get off the provincial bus, cross the intersection via footbridge, and wait for a bus at the NB lane of Roxas Blvd? That entirely defeats the purpose of having an interchange station. San napunta yung city buses na ginagawang terminal yung area in front of Baclaran church?
If MMDA plans and implements the Southbound (Alabang) and Northbound (Balintawak) interchange terminals this way, it is bound to fail. What's the sense of having "interchange" terminals kung puro inbound provincial buses lang and walang outbound city buses?

Ganun din sa Hong Kong like the Tung Chung bus terminal. From there you can take the MTR through CityGate or other buses to the Airport or different districts sa island.
Yung problem dito, beside being nowhere near a mass-transit train or LRT yung Bus Terminal, there are no efficient PUVs that will take you the different parts of MM. Puro PUJs lang with very limited routes aabutin mo...

Abolish the pork and use it to set-up an interconnected govt bus line system sa Metro Manila, with new aircon buses not surplus buses.
Slowly abolish the privately run buses in Metro Manila.

Meanwhile, in Singapore...
They're renovating the underground bus terminal at Woodlands. This is their temporary bus terminal. Temporary! See how orderly it is. Better than our bus terminals.
Passengers waitlng in line for the bus. Bendy buses in the background.
When will we have this kind of terminal?
