basing on your pics... what they did is just another chemical rustproofing treatment (which in my opinion is rather unnecessary as I've explained above).

a more cost effective way is to just have the vehicle undercoated. it will also give your underbody an additional layer (tar) of protection against small foreign objects (like gravel) and will help improve your vehicle NVH.

Actually, the rustproofing job I got is not a chemical treatment. They just used tar. I saw the drum and the applicator gun they use that pre-heats the tar before it is sprayed under high pressure. I was told that it reduces road Noise, but not necessarily Vibration and Harshness (since VH is related to a vehicle's over-all build and suspension which are not affected by the coating).

Forgot to mention... The job includes an underbody high pressure wash prior to the coating.

    Just wanted to share...

Got this 29" flat screen TV as a promo from HSBC. It got delivered today at work... I was kinda taken aback when I saw the size of the box. Sure was glad to see that the box fits in my 3.0V's cargo area (3rd row seat folded-up)with lotsa space to spare.

Now, this means I'll have to drive very slowly...

How about the 2nd row seats? Or did the box fit already with just the 3rd row seats folded up?

maluwang nga iyan, before I transported 29" TV in my 1st gen CRV. I had to collapse the back seat and the box is sagad sa ceiling. I think
I lost 2 pounds of sweat when I removed the TV at home, nag-friction sa ceiling yun box.

I didn't have to fold or move the 2nd row seats. It was a loose fit with the 3rd row seat folded-up. Just had trouble loading-off the TV. The rear cargo floor is quite high, eh.

Actually, my 10 year old 27" Mitsubishi TV recently died on me... That's why when I saw the HSBC promo, I jumped on the chance to get a nice replacement. I just upgraded the free 17" to a 29" by adding some cash.

OT lang: The TV delivered by HSBC is busted. When I tested it, wala s'yang sound! Just called them and asked them to have it replaced at their expense! Ini-refer ba naman ako sa Samsung! Bago pa lang ako and I get this kind of service?!

It seems like you might not have to wait long. A friend of mine got his much awaited call from Toyota Makati this past week. He was in fact surprised that they did not require him to get in-house financing or any other dealer "extras". Maybe the supply has now caught up with the demand as many people have decided not to wait in line and purchased alternative vehicles because of the dealers' unscrupulous practices in the early days. With three model variants available, it won't be long now until our streets will be filled with Fortuners!

What's so bad about that? I see lot's of Pajero FieldMasters on the streets. You'll see 10 to 12 Pajeros in a single mall level parking at any given time. Is that bad for the Pajero? I don't think so!

I just don't understand why some guys think that seeing lot's of Fortuners on our roads is like seeing lot's of pimples on someone's face, such that they go !
