Funny choice of wood panel color. Don't worry... This is not standard.

I'm sure many are already thinking of installing an intercooler.

G siya, interior beige pa rin , madaling madumihan

    WBR,
The overhead DVD and the HU are also not standard. The 2.5G basically has the same creature comforts and amenities as the 2.7G and the 3.0V Fortuners. The difference is only in the powerplant and the tranny (in the case of the 3.0V).

Pag linagyan ba *in the future* ng intercooler yung 2.5 D4-D kailangan mag-palit ng hood? (To make way for a hood scoop?)

    OT:
According to my research, ang mga possible modifications (aside from adding an intercooler) na pwede gawin can boost the 2.5 D4-D's power to around 122-128 HP, depending on the module. I checked this based sa Hi Lux 2.5 D4-D which is the same sa Innova and the Fortuner. Correct me if I'm wrong pero when coupled pa with an intercooler, kaya ba umabot ng 140+ HP? If that's the case, baka mas-matulin pa 'to when compared to a stock 3.0 Fortuner, considering that it is lighter.

The comprehensive insurance comes with my car loan from our company cooperative. I think it's around P32T. The only thing I got in-house is the registration, which cost me around P11.5T (notice the dealership's mark-up).

*Bry: Why do you wanna increase the power? How do you plan to use the 2.5G ba? If you don't go racing or go around towing a heavy trailer, I suggest you try it first with the stock engine. You might just find it adequate.

San kaya pwede magpakabit ng draw tite para sa fortuner? Mukha kasing tatama sa reserbang gulong and mukhang wala pa nagbebenta dito.

me naman sa sobrang dami ko na nakikita Fortuner sa kalsada ngaun, it's starting to look like a sedan with big wheels. and even the pics above, the 2.5 Diesel without the hoodscoop is just starting to look like an Innova with big wheels again ... although pag sa front lang naman titignan. since common ang harapan ng 3 IMV's, I'm beginning to associate their front design to an ergo mouse.

just like their hilux, okey sa alright talaga noong una, bagong concept ng pickup design but lately iba talaga ang dating ng D-Max & conventional pickups, bruskong-brusko. nakakasira kasi yun 4x2 na hilux with non-painted bumpers na madami na din sa kalsada. it's not giving justice to the elegance & prestige the first time I saw the 4x4 hilux.

I wonder why you would need an intercooler in the first place if there is a bigger engine displacement available. You run the risk of voiding your 3-year warranty and blowing the engine just to get 20 extra horses. You'll end up spending the same amount you saved from buying the 3.0 D4D.

Hehehe I dont mean for an suv to be driven like a racing car You can only take an suv as fast on a corner but having a lower side wall would actually reduce body roll compared to something thicker so in a sense improved handling although as you said, its not as dramatic in car

tama ka, kaya nga kinuha ko ang 4x2 d4d kasi mas mura. also, hindi ako off-roader, more on highway driving
