depends, kung top mount intercooler, you will need a hood scoop. kung front or side mount, no need.Originally Posted by Bry

Vic, do you know what is the brand of the DVD and where it can be installed? May monitor din ba sa headrest?Originally Posted by vicoyski
Grabe, laki talaga markup ng dealer, i paid 49K for my 2.7G IHI.
The new 2.5 liter diesel version will be more economical than the 2.7 liter gasoline and 3.0 liter diesel versions. With the price of oil hitting 65.00 US dollars per barrel in the international market, it will only be a matter of time when the price increase will have a direct effect on us. I don't think outright engine output is in most consumer's minds when they shop around for a new vehicle. I just filled up this morning and 43.278 liters of premium unleaded lightened my bank account by 1,410.43 PHP, not an excessive amount but it still hurts a bit when you consider that it cost me 700.00+ last year to tank up with the same amount of fuel. I wonder how much it will cost to fill up the Fortuner's fuel tank?
I decided to accept the leather seats being "forced" on us by the dealers. The initial pain of paying 60,000.00 for the upgrade will diminish in a couple weeks anyway. Hopefully, the installers will use durable materials for the seats.
Sorry, I failed to get the brand when I took the pic eh. But, I think the 2.5G display unit belongs to Toyota Balintawak. Oh, and, there were no headrest monitors. It's just the celiling mounted screen dedicated for the 2nd to 3rd row.Originally Posted by fortfan
This may not entirely be true. You will have to consider the power to weight ratio. You should consider the case of the 1.5L Honda City (14km/li)being more economical that the smaller engined 1.3L Honda City (12km/li).Originally Posted by Vmax
If your particular dealer got KelSeat for the re-upholstery, you can be sure of it's durability.Originally Posted by Vmax

See the button with an LED numeric display? It's a turbo timer. This should come in handy for Turbo D4D owners (HiLux, Innova or Fortuner). No more need to stay in your rides for an extra minute to wind down the turbo.
I wonder when this'll be made available as an aftermarket add-on here in RP?

oo nga ... ako nga next year ko pa ineexpect yung akin e hehe baka maurong pa sa dami ng mga singit hehe
how much does kel seat charge sa leather seats? nagtanong kasi ako sa seatmate in mandaluyong 55t daw lahat na !
I like the OEM Turbo Timer better... The display button has a place of it's own kasi.Originally Posted by kmo
Kelseat costs P60K, all leather... This excludes the steering wheel and the tranny shift stick skirt. If you leave a 50% deposit, you come back after 3 days and leave your unit for 2 days at their Las Piņas plant, where they install everything.
Proud of you guys, for having one hell of a unit. Budgetwise have to stick with my Innova for a while. Nevertheless, it still Toyota. What do you say?

I was just wondering, did any of the Fortuner owners receive some sort of a Customer Satisfaction Survey Form from Toyota or the dealers??? I saw in the dealer's bulletin board that they are getting less than 40% response from customers with a 96++% score. I was wondering why I didnt get one. I think TMC use this for their annual awards.
Just saw 2 Fortuner 2.5D4-D yesterday.. one black and one white.. The exterior looks almost the same. Difference is the Emblem which is D4-D and no opening in the Hood for Intercooler..![]()
I for one didn't get a survey...
Well, it just goes to show that the unscrupulous behavior is encouraged by the dealerships' management...
Ouch! Binusinahan daw ng driver yung center island, pero ayaw pa rin daw tumabi!
