*need4speed: Is it true that your dad also bought a 3.0 D4D Hilux at Toyota Bicutan, just so he can get his Fortuner, as well? Iba na talaga ang Triple V!Originally Posted by Innova_Boy

I inquired at A-Toy... If you just get the door mouldings, it'll set you back P18K. Cost already includes paint and installation (no drilling for the door mouldings). Kit is made out of fiberglass... I can't remember the price they quoted for the complete set. Parang P80K yata, eh.Originally Posted by spiff41398

WBR,
Since when? Does this apply also to locally manufactured cars? Or to all imported cars lang?Originally Posted by mazdamazda

i remember kasi dati my dad goes to tuff-kote once a year to get our cars (pre-1990) rustproofed eh...dont know about it now kung kailangan pa..
AFAIK, this spraying process is called undercoating. I think having it done once every other year or three years is sufficient. Undercoating every year might be a little too costly and impractical. The frequency would really depend on how one uses their car. But, imo, every new car should be at least undercoated, despite the factory rustproofing already. It would help seal some of the seams underneath and protect the underside paint from getting scratched.Originally Posted by zechs
On the other hand, factory rustproofing, i think, involves dipping the whole body and related parts (prior to paint and assembly of course) in a liquid solution / treatment that will aid in inhibiting corrosion.
I'm actually just interested in the sports grill. ;-)Originally Posted by vicoyski
I know that this question has been asked before, but is there any confirmation as to which engine the 4x2 diesel will go with? 2.5 or 3.0?
I have a reservation kasi for the 4x2 diesel (white). Hopefully by September to October ko daw makukuha according to my mom's friend sa Toyota Balintawak.
