Ok yung sensor mo ah! Sana meron din dito niyan...ayoko kasi talaga butasan bumpers eh. Tapos mas ok pa yan dahil buong likod may sensor na almost no chance of hitting anything from the back unless siguro mataas na masyado. Cool!
May nakita ako similar setup or system dito sa Tsikot a while ago.

Misting on the glass is quite normal when caused by the direct flow of air from a vent esp. during cooler weathers. I think there are settings to prevent air from flowing from that vent.

Thanks for d info guys, regarding the horn & Nitrogen for d tires...

If that doesn't work i'll be changing my coil spring.. I've ordered the TEIN coil spring. they told me it would soften the ride & will be lowered to 1 to 1.5
inches. and I think it would cost around 21t for the whole set.

I've also wanted change my HU to 1din pioneer & install Focal speakers & RockFord Amplifier, Punch P2 Sub on monday.

I'm excited to know what is the outcome.

so far wala naman akong na-experience na problem. i've used it before with my mitsu adventure with 17" tires. ok naman. also, pinlagyan ko rin ng nitro ang tires ng delivery vehicle ko na suzuki fb type van (naka-mags pa!). well, i usually try things that help improve the performance of my vehicle. will look into the benefits of nitrogen and will post it here asap.

peeps, when i was in the pasig area late this pm, i noticed the fortuner in front of me with yellow colored shocks. looks like pinalitan ng owner. anong brand kaya yun, oldman? mas malambot ba yun sa stock shocks?

and guess what, i'm doing 8.7 km/l (MID) w/my VVTI * 293 km travelled (70% highway). a big improvement from my previous ave of 7.5 km/l.

Are you still using any fuel-saving device? And is it the result of very conservative driving habits. Thanks!

normal driving naman ako. i sometimes put the stick shift to 3 pag gusto ko mabilis ang arangkada when overtaking. nalilito kasi minsan mag-react ang auto transmission pag biglang bumagal ang nasa harapan mo when cruising at high speeds. i don't use any fuel saving device (inalis ko after 3 days yung vortex device, medyo na-cho-choke ang engine).

peeps, here are some info i got re nitrogen:

    Why use Nitrogen
    · Nitrogen is an inert gas that has a larger molecular structure than Oxygen.
    · Safety
    · Proper tire pressure maximizes a vehicles braking and steering capability
    · Elimination of oxygen results in fewer internal tire failures
    · Reduced chemical aging reduces the risk of tire failure
    Tire Performance
    · Proper tire pressure optimizes a vehicles handling
    · Proper tire pressure improves ride quality
    · Economy
    · Proper tire pressure minimizes rolling resistance, leading to better fuel mileage
    · Proper inflation pressure optimizes tire life
    Features & Benefits
    · Does not diffuse as easily: nitrogen molecules are larger than oxygen, which means that it has a slower rate of pressure loss.
    · Nitrogen permeates the tire at a rate of 30-40% slower than oxygen
    · Inert gas: nitrogen disperses heat more quickly which results in cooler running tires
    · Improved tread life
    · Reduced incidences of tire damage caused by excessive heat
    · Non-flammable; reduced chance of flash point explosion
    · Potential for better fuel mileage; if heat is restrained from building up the rolling resistance is reduced which can improve the vehicles fuel economy
    · Reduced pressure build up: maintaining pressure reduces the deflection, which again prevents heat build-up and reduces the chance of separation
    · Over-pressurization is as problematic as under-pressurization
    · Increased tire pressure above the recommended inflation point can reduce the contact patch and thus reduce the maximum possible grip levels.
    · Reduced moisture content introduced to the tire
    · Nitrogen is dry because of it's inert qualities. Many of the causes of failure in a tire can be attributed to moist air being introduced internally to the tire.
    · Moisture causes rusting, especially of the stem valve, increasing leakage. Additionally heating in tires is often caused by vaporization of the moisture
    Who Uses Nitrogen Today?
    · Aircraft tires
    · Used for consistent pressure and minimized oxidation of rubber compounds
    · NASCAR & Fomular 1
    · For improved, consistent handling and reduced operating temperatures
    · Heavy contruction equipment
    · For consistent tire pressure and to prevent auto-ignition
    · US Goverment / military equipment
    · NASA - space shuttle

Which tranmission setting (3-D, 2, L?) do you use for stop and go city driving?

parekoy, my settings are "set" to blow air only to the front aircon vents (not on the foot vents, and not on the windshield vents). Just came back from the dealers though for my 1000km checkup. I raised this problem to my SA..pa-pa-check daw nya..sana maayos nila. Makukuha ko daw before lunch...ayos!

Number 001 (and other owners as well), again, does this problem happen to you? Or ako lang?

Just thinking out loud: Ang mahal pala ng fully synthetic nila! Inabot ako 3,885 just for the oil...Sakit sa bulsa!

My unit also has a little mist at the lower portion of the windshield esp when the cabin temperature is far lower than the outside temp. What I do is just increase the thermostat setting and the misting disappears.

Hope you can give us feedback on what the SA told you RE: misting. TIA

Mostly 22 - Off ang rear A/C.

Got my unit from the casa yesterday. As soon as I got there, I asked the SA about my misting problem. My gut feel tells me na hindi naman ata talaga chineck ng SA or the mechanics. Baduy nila diba? So yun...tapos ang nakadagdag pa sa disappointment ko, hindi nila ci-nar wash after gawin. They told me before lunch tapos na. I picked up my unit mga 2:30 pm na. Tsk!

herbularyo, (and other owners na rin) if you don't mind, can you check if there is a small amount of air coming out of the windshield vents ng unit mo (even if the mode is set to front only)? Yung vent na in-line with the center console of our units. Sakin kasi, na-fe-feel ko talaga na may lumalabas na hangin eh, which I'm definitely sure is the cause of the misting. Ganyan kasi ang effect sa Civic namin (or for any car for that matter) kapag tinapat mo sa windows yung aircon louvers eh.

My climate control is set to 26 deg. lang.

My unit doesnt mist. I noticed that once you turn on the AC on Auto mode and if the car has been exposed to the sun, the AC will open all vents and set the blower to Full or High. This runs for a few minutes until the desired Temp is reached. It will then close the vents and leave the one you set.

I dont feel any air coming from my widshield vents when they are closed, very slight if any. But doesnt cause any misting. Try setting on Manual and also try all vent settings. Try opening and closing your windshield vents several times. Baka may konting debris na naka harang that is causing the leak.

IMO, if anyone can afford a pricey SUV, they should be able to afford the maintenance costs, as well.
Alam mo na nga pricey ang SUV, masama bang maging vocal ako to get the variant without tainted record which is VVTI para worry free at normal maintenance lang?
Don't complain that you risked money to spend on your family 'cause you bought an expensive SUV. It was your choice to love the SUV more than your family (which I think is a poor choice)...
I don't risk my money with this VVTi variant plus may extra cash pa ako matitira to spend for my family. Kaya papaano naging poor choice aber?
Saka wala kang alam what I have invested for my family kaya don't say that I love the SUV more than my family. Family mo ang isipin mo dre!
Partner, cool ka lang... Baka putukan ka ng ugat... Think of your family...

sometimes may mist dun sa windshield ko na in-line sa center console units. usuall i set my temp to 18 deg tapos fan speed is 2 and rear aircon at med.

hmm...that makes us 2. I did some testing this morning...I also found out that if I set the mode (vent settings) to the foot vents, mas malakas ang gushing air out of the wind shield vents, which I don't think is suppost to be happening. I definitely will have it fixed sa CASA. Argh!
