Check your tire pressure. 30psi lang ok na assuming you are using OEM tires. Pag bagong labas sa casa, usually mataas ang pressure (up to 45psi). Correct pressure will provide better footing and grip.

i think so. it is used in F1 cars. the temp of your tires will not increase even on long rides which means you'll have stable tire pressure. also, mas gagaan ang tires mo pag naka-nitro.

    monpogi, around php 100/tire.

Just curious how do they do this? Do they deflate/empty each tire of its air and inflate it with nitrogen?

IMO, if anyone can afford a pricey SUV, they should be able to afford the maintenance costs, as well.
Alam mo na nga pricey ang SUV, masama bang maging vocal ako to get the variant without tainted record which is VVTI para worry free at normal maintenance lang?

I don't risk my money with this VVTi variant plus may extra cash pa ako matitira to spend for my family. Kaya papaano naging poor choice aber?
Saka wala kang alam what I have invested for my family kaya don't say that I love the SUV more than my family. Family mo ang isipin mo dre!

Re nitro air, Php50/tire sa Bridgestone The Fort.

thanks po! ill definitely have my tires inflated with nitro next week. dami palang benefits. sa ngayon kasi naka 30 psi ako on all 4 tires kakatakot lang kasi pag nag park ako ng tagaytay ng matagal tagal bumabagsak to 27psi/22degrees C yung gulong. then pag nasa manila naman pumapalo ng 36psi/48degrees C pag tanghaling tapat.

Nasakyan ko kasi yung sa boss, ko, natuwa ako kasi yung visual sensor niya, hindi sa rear view mirro nakalagay...it was on one of the panels (parang ung OEM na turbo timer) pero instead, there was a sort of "top view" picture of a car tapos with led lights representing the sensors, which blink and beep. O diba?? 'Stig! Pwede kya?? Thanks! =)

Better check your dealer. If its on the Previa, malamang pwede sila maginstall sa Fortuner. They could consider ordering the original Previa sensor system for you. You can also check car shops along Banawe, maraming backup sensors ngayon. Just look around and you will find several choices and options.

As for the display, it looks cool pero you should not rely on it. Mas safe pa din ang audio (sensor beeper) plus your own actual view of the surroundings. I only have the rear sensor without the display and it is wrapped around the whole bumper so walang gaps sa signal. Its a long metal strip stuck on the inner side of the rear bumper so hindi visible and sensor (no holes on my bumper). I bought this in Hong Kong so Im not sure if it is available in the Phils.

hood insulator for fortuner or for any ride for that matter 2 variants available

one is a diy type you can buy at handyman or true value- color and feel is similar to what's wrapped on the boom boxes - subject to availability, price unknown (this was info gathered from a previous post from dudes who were in same predicament as you)

two is one used by Seatmate Mandaluyong looks like roof insulation, thinner in feel, silver lining on one side (side that'll be facing the engine & one side thin yellow cushion that's rugbied to your engine, cost php 300 BUT since you're sporting a new car and with vat and all might be close to php 500)

Thanks bro! Will ask na lang the dealer when I bring it in for service this weekend.

Ok yung sensor mo ah! Sana meron din dito niyan...ayoko kasi talaga butasan bumpers eh. Tapos mas ok pa yan dahil buong likod may sensor na almost no chance of hitting anything from the back unless siguro mataas na masyado. Cool!

Nag-mi-mist kasi yung small portion of my windshield....yung sakto sa tapat ng aircon vents/defogger for the front windshield (meron bang rear? hehe!) kahit naka-set naman aircon vent setting ko to passenger lang. When I placed my hand over it, I felt a little amount of air breezing through that's causing the misting. Nangyayari ba rin yung ganito sa inyo??

sa " The Fort" bridgestone show room. makikita mo sya agad pag nasa fort kana. punta ako later or tom. palagay din ako. pero im thinking hindinaan same yung F1 tire sa tire ng fortuner. that F1 cars are setup for nitro. meron kayang magiging problem sa tires natin if ever na lagyan natin? this is only my opinion
