Wow, that was fast, thanks 001 I know the place, just didn't know that Big Bert's was there, wow, this is great, I'll surely pay them a visit. Does anyone know how much exactly is the cost of getting my ride blingy? Nakita ko sa website, price ranges from 3-5K? ang mahal naman if I just need to make my car shiny

Do I need to call and schedule?

I was just asking them about the scheduling thing in their thread.

If its major job, then by appointment. If its minor like a car wash, walk-in would be fine.

Had my fortuner tinted where bro vicoyski suggested sa V-Kool San Juan, da best nga sila, straight ang mga edges ng pag ka cut ng tint and kayang kaya whole piece tint for front and back and naka-aircon nga room.

when i had mine scheduled my naka sched din pala after me, white fortuner for tinting and ang ilalagay daw is the expensive v-kool (clear) tint then solar (guard magic black) tint uli. sobra lamig siguro nun. i wonder if the owner is a fellow tsikoteer = )

Is double tinting possible in one session or you have to come back after a few days to have the second layer installed?

chris, what type of tint did you get? solar gard __________?

    Ok...

They are so prepared that they even want to know what kind of tint I wanted to put on, upon booking an appointment.

Ok na yan. No regrets except for the noticeable bulk which might initially feel intimidating when driving esp. when coming from a sedan.

Parang ang bilis lumabas sayo, ah! Suwerte ka pa kong ala pa yan mga "extras".

hay nako!!!!The agent called me na may available na fortuner 4x2 vvti white, just what i really dreamed of. I was so excited to go to the casa. Agad punta ako kahapon...Kaso disappinted ako sa pricing nila. They gave me an insurance worth 55k and yet i asked my standard insurance agent how much is really the price, 26k lang daw. Sa BPI I was approved with 27% interest in 48 months. When toyota followed up my application, naging 40%. I went out disappointed. Just because i like Fortuner so much would not mean magpapaloko nako. I settled for the new civic. Labas ko na to mamya....

Yeah, anyone here na waiting pa rin? I still have the reservation till today...bukas daw iaallocate na sa iba. Btw, I'm from pampanga...

Gabre naman pala! Some dealers will never change talaga... Tignan natin what they'll do once the 7-seater Hyundai Santa Fe is locally available...

The high insurance price is really like a bribe for them to release the unit to you. Well, if I were in your shoes, I would only get the pricey insurance and nothing else esp. those cheap combi vinyl/low-grade leather combo upholstery from K__S__. The financing scheme is really ridiculous also. But if the terms was cash and the only extra included is the IHI then it is quite palatable already, IMO.

Saan Toyota? San Fernando? I was there last week, and they only quoted me 37k for the IHI, but you have to put up with their crap on the leather seat package.

    This was for the 2.7VVTi.

    Need help...

1.) For daily top-ups, is it alright to simply pour water directly into either the radiator or reservoir? or both?

2.) Do you pour water only directly into the radiator or the reservoir? Or is a mixture of engine coolant with water really required/mandatory even for daily top-ups?

I read in the manual that you need to mix water with engine coolant. I think this is applicable after draining the entire radiator, but is this applicable for daily top-ups? I can see the reservoir has the pinkish engine coolant inside. Also, my previous cars received daily water top-ups through the reservoir and I never opened the radiator cap ever and it worked fine for than ten years until the car was sold.

Yes, on my end (my current ride and all of past rides) I just add water, then if the color of the coolant gets lighter, than that will be the signal for me to drain it and replace with a new coolant but with a mix of water...
