    real benefit versus placebo effect.
it also occurs outside of medicine.

if user is satisfied, why not?

    anybody with the same experience?

mukhang di rin reliable yung electronic abs ng innova. dunno. lets give toyota the benefit of the doubt...mukhang umaasa lang sa lspv.

Hi, any tips on what to do or check after not using your car (Innova particularly) for 10 straight days? I left it with a full tank.

I'd check the fluid levels (engine oil, ATF, coolant, PSF, and brake fluid). Check the tire pressures and basically just do an ocular around the vehicle to see if there's anything out of place.

As for the battery condition, you'll know right away if it's low on charge if the vehicle fails to start. That, or maybe the battery contacts have started to corrode.

    just "the usual" everyday things.
i'd also check, kung may hayop sa ilalim na natutulog.

for the alarm, i've had the casa's cheap model for over 4 years now. that one with black flat egg-shaped fob. less than 5K, including installment, according to the casa guy i asked.

When did you have the PSF and ATF replaced?

Do indicate if you replaced either after x Years or y Km.

Are you referring to the 1st gen Innova (2006-2015) or the 2nd gen (2016- )?

    Brand new or used?

anyone experienced this? the rear aircon drain has been dripping water for around 2 days after use. hindi naman napaandar ang sasakyan. walang drip sa front aircon. only unusual i see is hindi nakaoff ang thermostat ng aircon.
the water was quite cold. what could be the possible reason? ill try checking tomorrow if it still drips with the thermostat turned off.

if the new innova is as good as the old, then it should also be problem-free.
the new version has been in the market for a short time only. it takes some time for problems to show themselves.

    Yes and no.

It has an OBD-II ‘style’ DLC connector located under the plastic panel below the steering wheel.

The bad news is, it doesn’t seem to be using the standard OBD-II signaling protocol so third-party OBD-II scanners may not work. I’ve tried both ScanGaugeII and UltraGauge... nada.

The only reliable means to get data out of it is to use Toyota’s own scanner, the Techstream. I bought an OBD-II-to-USB converter included with the Techstream software CD-ROM (for PC) from eBay and I use a laptop if I need to extract info from it.

It's unlikely. But if you can test it before buying it, it's worth a try. You can share your experiences here as I'm sure a lot, including myself, will be interested with the results.
