Tires should only be inflated and its pressure measured while it is cold (ambient temp).
I read somewhere that you must add additional 4 psi if your tires are warm?

It is not a fixed number. But the math is simple. You must add 1psi for every 10F (5.5C) above tire cold temp. Example: Assume 25C is tire cold temp and 33psi your tire recommended pressure. If you will fill air during hot afternoon and temp is say 36C, then you need add 2psi more. 36 - 25 = 11 / 5.5 = 2psi. So fill up to 35psi.

Removing most of the guesswork is precisely why tires should be pressure-calibrated while cold, typically in the morning.

There are a lot of factors involved when the tire has already been warmed up. There’s even a whole paper written about it: http://www.cis.rit.edu/~cnspci/references/lin2004.pdf

Remember that the relatively cool air you pump into a warm tire will also expand after driving for a bit. And depending on how much ‘cool’ air you added, the final pressure could end up higher than what was computed.

I could be wrong but I choose to side with caution.

i put in 33 psi when cold weather, and 35 psi when hot weather.
over the years, the tread wear pattern appears to agree with my wild guess.

Ultimately, yes. Hihina kasi yung airflow so hindi na efficient yung A/C.

    palitan (several hundreds?) o hugasan.
    hinuhugasan ko yung akin.
gentle hand wash lang, so as not to deform. then hang to dry.
estimate ko, 6 pesos (presyo ng isang tide, na hindi mo ma-uubos).

the hard part, is to remove the filter. you have to remove the lower glovebox from its swivel mounts. it's difficult, the first time, because it feels like may mababasag kayo.

ngayon... kung mamalasin kayo... wala kayong aircon filter! nguni at, napaka-dumi na ng evaporator nyo! now, that will necessitate a trip to the aircon shop and serious money.

    good luck, po.

madali lang matuyo yun pero as the doc says, kelangan gentle ka sa paglilinis. maghihimulmol yan kapag nasobrahan. me personally, I replace them. online sellers are abundant. price can go as low as 200 each.

I bought this when it was P368 on Lazada. Now it's about P50 more expensive, but still reasonable. It's a little bigger than the OEM so I had to squeeze it in there. I think maybe it's for a different vehicle than what was written on the description.

Avoid using the A/C without a cabin filter. Mas mahal magpalinis ng A/C kesa palitan yung filter.

With a filter, an A/C system cleaning can be done every 4-5 years. Kung walang filter, baka every year ka magpapa-linis.

I recomm3nd nitrogen instead or pure air for your tire inflation, then you will get the constant pressure even on hot or cold tires.

78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen mix na lang po.
after some weeks, the oxygen would have leaked out thru the rubber, leaving behind an enriched nitrogen mix. do this a few more times, and you eventually achieve a high-nitrogen gas mixture in the tire, at no extra cost.

    btw...
constant pressure despite high and low tire temperatures?
this goes against the laws of science.
