good day Innova peeps....

Just got our 2014 Innova G M/T this afternoon.... feels good.... Would just like to ask if indeed that the alarm sound for this model is already removed? Per advise of our SA from Toyota Pasig, I need to purchase an additional module to have it activated??? Previous models (2012 to early 2013) sound can be activated by doing some steps / procedures on the remote. Please enlighen me on this... TIA

mga bossing, in our innova the "door open" indicator in the panel has this faint light whenever the switch is set to "door". The indicator is not as bright when a door is open but there's a very faint light, say 25-30% of a normally swithched on light. It totally shuts off when you move the switch to "off". Common po ba ito?

normal lang po yan sir mas mababa kapag naka set sa "door" yung cabin light compared to "light" mismo

Hindi ba more on sa crdi lang yan? Kasi malinis naman ang gasoline.

Hi bro, you can go to pages 46-50 of your owner's manual for the activation procedure or you can go to your favorite casa to activate them for you since medyo tricky yung procedure. HTH

mahal po ba palinis nito sir? kasi parang ang lakas kumain ng fuel ni INNOVA. 85k odo na kasi.... 5 km/l city driving 7.5 km/l highway.

tama po Matic po sa akin.... Iridium spark plug gamit ko..... at malinis naman ang air filter ko sir.

Malinis na rin ang MAF sensor ko.... malinis na rin ang Throttle Body ko.

Sa central diesel ata madam, pwede sa kanila ang injector cleaning ng petrol engine.

Try mo check sa obd scanner kung tama nga yung fuel consumption mo. Baka naman di naman injector ang issue.

Di lang naman kasi fuel consumption ang pwede maapektuhan ng maduming injector, kahit yung usok and hatak affected yan.

Iba ang hatak, mas responsive ang engine and also mas matagal ang maintenance interval sa sparkplugs.

Wow ang lakas konsumo mo ah? Mine city driving is around 7-8km/l matic din sakin. Akala ko malakas na yun, mas malakas pa yun sayo.

Mga paps, ask lang kung naencounter nyo na ito sa innova fuel gauge, kapag pina-dle mo sasakyan ng mga 5 to 10 minutes, makita mo na biglang bumababa or gumalaw fuel gauge mo, pero kapag pinatakbo mo na ito, babalik sya sa normal reading. VVT-i 2008 E model sa akin mga paps. Ask lang kung na-observe or naencounter nyo na rin ito, say naipit kayo sa traffic or may inaantay kayo habang umaandar makina.

Never had that problem, mine is a 2009 vvti.

though i had that problem on my bike. Garnish was forming on the fuel gauge sensors due to seldom use and mostly low fuel level. The sensors was exposed to air for long periods of time.

try doing a full tank and dont let it fall half the mark. Try doing it for a few weeks and see if it wojld loosen up the fuel sensors.

*kristine. Palyado po ba ang pakiramdam nyo pag running at high speed? Yung tipong parang hinde smooth? Dati sa honda sedan ko 2400 ang injectors cleaning sa goodyear servitek. Meron silang stand alone na cleaner na may ultrasonic to de clog the injectors. Before linisin ipapakita sa iyo ang buga ng injectors. Makikita mo kung consistent ang labas ng sa mga butas. Baka hinde din dyan ang problema.

i think may backflow sa fuel system kaya tumataas ng konti sa gauge, remember gauge reading ay approximate lang, it can be more or less...
