Lahat ng diesel nasisira ang injectors, especially sa d4d are prone to injector failures. Kahit sa wikipedia sinani na common ang injector failures sa high mileage engines.

Sbi ng bayaw ko na ahente sa toyota, nasa 120k mileage daw kadalasan pinapaltan ang injectors which costs 15-20k each!

Dagdag maintenance yon.

New here, yung sa akin po j variant 06 mt, ok pa injector at 150k

I wouldn't recommend it sis... You may need to upgrade your wiring.... Plus it could cause the accelerated fading of your headlight

most likely nagstuck up na fuel float mo. which is common sa diesel lalo na kapag nakapagload ka ng water contaminated diesel kasi nag rust yung fuel float.

try to put 200ml of 2T in your full tank. see if it will be of any help. madami kasi sa 4x4 forum ganyan. years na stuck yung fuel gauge. after gumamit ng 2T, gumana ulit yung fuel gauge.

Agree with you bro. In my limited experience with our rides in the past and now, changing the HU made a lot of difference in the sound experience vs changing the speakers.... Most notably when the 45W/52W x 4 standard HUs became standard models in the market....

Sobrang haba na masyado ng thread and I don't know where to start.

I'm planning to get an Innova as a second car... lumalaki na mga bata. Anyway, here are my inquiries:

1. Side by side differences among V, G, E, J and Limited G variants. Can't find this anywhere. Gusto ko sana ma-narrow down na yung trim na pipiliin ko before I go to the dealer
2. I know choosing between gas or diesel-fed engine is subjective, but, if it's just going to be a secondary car (ie. weekend driver) and I plan to keep it for more than 8 years, what would be best for me and why? My take is, since I predict it's going to be a relatively low-mileage car, I'd get the gasoline variant para mas mura ang maintenance.
3. Any known quirks with either engine type or AT/MT transmission I should know about?

2. For me i choose vvti kung minsan mo lang naman gagamitin.
Sa kapit bahay namin 2005 till now walang naging problema sa Innova vvti (gas) manual at bago pa till now, 30+k odo pa lang.
3. mas tipid sa gas Manual transmission compared sa Automatic Transmission.... pero I'm comfortable driving an AT.

Sir cb, natandaan ko lang ung sabi ni sir dvldoc doon sa kabilang thread na hindi niya ramdam ang difference using 2T sa petron diesel max.... might be some conflict with the detergents used in petron diesel max. Wala kayang side effects ito sa engine? kasi petron diesel max karga ko. I'm not a 2T user yet but seems like madami na rin ang gumagamit nito.

sir, since for family use lang, i would recommend Innova G VVTi AT. Mas smooth ang ride ng gas compared sa diesel at mas classy ang dating ng interior compared sa J at E variant at para sakin sulit din yung price difference with the features and accessories of G variant. No worries sa warranty.

Btw, i am a very satisfied owner of 2013 Innova G VVTi AT. Ang pinabit ko lang na additional accessories are the ff.

1. Sprint Booster - c34x4
2. Spare tire cover at spare tire lock - casa
3. Engine under cover - casa
4. Hood insulator - tsikoter

engine is all stock.

ah okay. mukhang madami din 2T users na Innova here kaya hindi na stuck-up fuel gauge reading nila. anyway, saan maayos muna baka malaking trabaho din pagpalit ng float swtch kung sakali.
