Sorry i honestly dont remember the name of the store. I parked my car at mamonluk then walked thru banawe, canvassing and buying things that i like. As far as i can remember, it is a store near or at the 1st corner of banawe.

I installed it myself, madali lang naman. Ang mahirap eh magtanggal ng Rear brake light assembly.

    Reagarding PMS services...

Does all toyota dealers have the VIP service lane? I bought a prepaid VIP service card for 6K+ that entitles me for free parts (oil, filter etc) and service from 1k PMS to 15k PMS. It also entitles me to 30-50% discounts on other services. Plus I dont have to wait in line. Otis has 3 VIP lanes thatonly services VIP Card holders.

Dont know if that will translate to any savings but one thing is sure, naka Price lock na ang prices ng oil at parts with that VIP card. It could take me 2 years to reach the 15k PMS mark since i dont use my innova that often. :D

That's normal. Don't worry, it can do higher speeds.

Ok meaning kung mineral oil ang ipapalagay ko sa 1000pms then next 5000pms pa ako pa change ulit...??

Ganun din ba IF synthetic oil gagamitin ko in 1kpms then sa 5,000pms fully change oil talaga, i heard kasi pag synthetic gamit mo in 1k pms then next 5kpms add lang 1 liter and change oil filter?? tama ba???

Sorry ha kung makulit ako.. wala kasi ako good idea.. First Brand new car ko kasi ito.. Peace!!!

no your not makulit, your just being sure on what to do.... as if you are experimental person, it might cost you some bucks, as it is trial & error....
yes, you heard it correctly as to what I also head at first, that; when you use mineral-change oil is every 5k, synthetic is every 10k... but am also hearing some doubts regarding this, that we need to change our engine oil every 5k, as our weather here in our country are humid and may be so unpredictable, uulan tapos biglang aaraw.
feel free to read on this thread - http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62966
its really all up to you, on what you would like to follow..... kasi para sa akin po, id rather change my oil and oil filter every 5k, kasi baka magkaroon ng maling pagtitipid, as engine oil and oil filter is cheaper compared to Innova parts.... - again, this is my car concept on how to take care of my car....

P550 /quart sa SpeedyFix Shaw Blvd.

Check mo yung signature ni SpeedyFix sa Royal Purple thread, may promo sila na 4 liters oil + oil filter + labor = P2,500, pag Innova dagdag lang ng per liter on top of the promo. http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...=44062&page=19

    Pag Gas variant add 2 quart (2 x P550) + P2500

    Pag Diesel variant add 3 quart (3 x P550) + P2500

Mine is gas variant and uses 5.5 liters only, so it leaves me 0.5 liter oil take home Then bring it again on the next oil change and I would only buy 5 liter by next oil change.

I suggest you do your PMS at Toyota Dealers since yours was still under warranty to avoid problem with warranty claims. Go straight Toyota parts and consumables.

Flushing is not needed per my experience with Toyota change oil to fully synthetic.

~it is normal for a brand new engine...used it daily and after ilang kms. pa pipino pa yung andar ng engine mo...you will noticed it after the break-in period of your car...

i called speedy fix late last year. sabi sa akin nung kausap ko, hindi daw kasama sa promo ang innova kasi iba daw filter natin. so per quart x 6 plus filter plus labor charge. and to change the spark plugs, they are charging a whooping 200 pesos per plug. kinda expensive compared to casa.

Hi, the Self-Check is inherent and normal in Innovas and it is actually discussed in the Owner's Manual. For the Montero, maybe the self-check does not produce any audible sound or the self-check does not happen at all. Occasionally, I use a Mitsu Strada D1D which has the same engine platform with the Montero and I also don't notice any such ABS self-check noise similar to my Innova.

If you don't have any problems, you can bring it to the dealer when you reach 1000km ODO reading for its first PMS. Oil change and inspection lang naman yon.
