Toyota Ortigas quoted me around 6K or 8K for the OEM courtesy lamp before... I just opted to put in my trusty Bosch unit under the bumper.

hindi naman mainigay sa amin, kaso nasa 3000+ rpm na, so i think meron narin noice yan.

pag tungtong ng 3000rpm, dun pipitik ang vvti, kay nagbabago tunog ng makina. Thats between 100-120 sa m/t ko.

what does that light serve to do on the rear fog lamp, other than style?
para din kasi pong rear brake light - once you press on the break and it lits...

pag tungtong ng 3000rpm, dun pipitik ang vvti, kay nagbabago tunog ng makina. Thats between 100-120 sa m/t ko.

toyota's vvti works continously unlike honda's vtec which kicks in at a certain rpm.

hindi po sir. hindi nakakasilaw yan. maliwanag na red lang. its for safety. lalo na kung madalas kayo sa ma-foggy na lugar. para malayo palang makikita na ilaw ninyo.

my innova is manual, I notice na when I change gear I have to use a little power/force. ganyan ba talaga manual na innova? my other car is a city pero wala akong na experience na I have to use a little force to change gear. thanks

I came from a civic,smooth ang transition ng stick. First week masakit sa balikat. Rear wheel tranny kasi.

According to this site http://www.billzilla.org/vvtvtec.htm di naman continuous ang VVTi. although there is no definite RPM na gumagana. Pero pansin ko din ang Ingay na sabi ni brader pag tungtong ng 100-120.

Maganda yung rear courtesy light, kaso bubutas pa. Why not change your bumper reflector to this? LED parklight and brakelight, got it from banawe for 700p only

btw, i think mejo mahirap mag shift sa innova compared to civic is because of the long throw shift stick.

LED produces little heat, buong assembly ang palit. Di naman natunaw at waterproof sya. Tinabi ko na lang ang orig.

my 2nd car is a 2010 model 2.0 A/T VVTi E Variant with 2k++ mileage.

*My family and i went to baguio with 8 adults onboard and travelling 100-140 km/h. I noticed the noise when odo hits 120 km/hr. On the otherhand when it hits more than 120km/h the engine noise seems to tone down a bit.
*Another noise i hear everytime i start the car and starts cruisin at 5-10KM/hr. I hear a "transformer-like-sound" in the engine bay.

This is the ABS doing a self check. It's normal.

Sometimes this is so on new cars, medyo stiff pa ang transmission system. Give it a few more thousand kms of use and it should smoothen up. Huwag lang yung kumakayod ang mga granahe(gears).
