I will observe my car and sana dina bumalik problema nya..waiting for your info sir...thanks
Bro, observe mo lang muna yung aircon mo, any sign of abnormality use your warranty to correct it.

Discussion on practicality of D4D & VVTi:

Now a difference of 1.3 li of oil every oil change is probably not alot but considering that the cost of mineral oil is Php 2xx.xx, semi-synthetic is Php 3xx-4xx, and fully synthetic Php 6xx-8xx, it does add up to the expenses.

The more higher PMS costs + the higher purchase price (+Php 60,000 to the price of VVT-i) are some of the factors that need to examined whether looking to get the gas or diesel. Each has its own pros and cons. High milers (those who travel 15,000 Kms and up per year) should settle for the diesel since they can easily recoup the higher costs with savings from better fuel economy.

All of these are estimates. Here's my case:

If driven 5 days a week...
    40kms x 2 trips per day = 80kms per day; about 16xxkms per month

    VVT-i
    80kms / 9km/L consumption = about 9L of gas
9L of gas x PhP40/L (average) = PhP360 worth of gas per day; PhP7xxx per month

    D4D
    80kms / 13km/l consumption = about 6.5L of diesel
6.5L of diesel x PhP30/L (average) = PhP195 worth of diesel per day; PhP4xxx per month

Ceteris paribus, the D4D is a no-brainer if the potential owner will drive long distances everyday. It easily saves about PhP35,000 worth of fuel a year if driven on my route 5 days a week.

On the other hand, the VVT-i makes sense if the potential owner lives within the metro and will drive short distances. It's cheaper to buy and proven to be more reliable. And if driven short distances, gas consumption and cost won't be much of a problem since it won't be driven on long distances.

Maybe upgrading to 2009 look is a good idea since kasama sa papalitan ang front grill due to damaged clips. Apprehension ko lang when I eventually sell the car it might devaluate the price.

What is your opinion on this mga bro.

Pero I am contemplating on buying a VVTi Fortuner tapos papaconvert ko ng LPG. It may be a good idea for VVTi Innova J to be converted to dual LPG. Just use the Australian brand of LPG conversion kit, cost is around 60k for the kit and doughnut tank.

Question nga pala sa mga may experience sa insurance claims, usually ba how long does it take bago lumabas ang LOA. Mine was filed last monday, evaluated tuesday, until now wala pa report ang evaluator.

    Is this waiting period normal.

I had it checked by the service foreman sa casa. ang sabi, marahil daw dahil di nagagamit ng madalas.

What do you think?

    thanks.

Go straight to CRO and tell them what the foreman had told you. Service should first assess it physically before saying it is not covered by warranty.
Findings is basa daw yung clutch disc ko.

Do i have the right to ask for a new transmission instead of just replacing the said part?

    Thanks.

Para sa akin, it will look funny. You have to replace the rear bumper and taillights also para 2009 look altogether. But to be honest, for me the 2008 model looks better.

Suwerte ka pa rin, yung damages mo mapapalitan without any body welds. I saw a 2009 innova this morning sa EDSA on my way to Clark. Smashed yung left side, rear portion nung body. If ever my dugtungan ang mga panel sa portion na yon, it will still involve cutting and welding.
