I would not be general on that though. The Ford Everest is a good alternative to the Innova; has better engine performance and is just as robust due to its beefy truck-based chassis and suspensionvm. The Innova aces this vehicle more on the comfort and affordabilty side.

steady lang.. i mean i don't need it naman too much but its still frustrating coz 1 month wait bro, and still waiting.. wtf!

if you really need a new car i suggest either go for the gas variant or jus see other brands na lang.

yes and.. but that's jus me though. i'm not saying he shouldn't consider the ford everest. i jus left a note that personally i wouldn't choose american cars over japanese, german or korean.

i got these results from: http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
how true is this? is it really safe to upgrade to 215/55/R17? please advise.

    <Stock Tire - 205/65R15> <Tire 1 - 215/55R17>

    <Section Width: 8.07in 205mm> <Section Width: 8.46in 215mm>
    <Rim Diameter: 15in 381mm> <Rim Diameter: 17in 431.8mm>
    <Rim Width Range: 5.5 - 7.5 in> <Rim Width Range: 6 - 7.5 in>
    <Overall Diameter: 25.49in 647.44mm> <Overall Diameter: 26.31in 668.27mm>

    <Sidewall Height: 5.24in 133.09mm> <Sidewall Height: 4.65in 118.11mm>
    <Radius: 12.74 in 323.59 mm> <Radius: 13.15 in 334.01 mm>

    <Speedometer Difference: -> <Speedometer Difference: 3.225% too slow>

    <Diameter Difference: -> <Diameter Difference: 3.12>

    Warning!!!
when changing tire sizes, we recommend staying within 3% of the original tire size. any more than this and you face the risk of brake failure.

    ty a lot!
    P.S.
which is better with respect to safety & driving comfortability?
    215/55/17 or 225/50/17
    Note:
    215/55/17 = 3.12%
    225/50/17 = 1.42%

    GOD BLESS!

Yes it is from the aircon, kung di naman amoy langis or crude nothing to worry.

There are 2 condensed water outlet, one is located on the front firewall (for front aircon) and the rear aircon water outlet is located behind the rear wheel passenger side.

    Sir Mile2,

can you pinpoint where these locations exactly are?

thanks. i've been noticing signs of leak on the front left, just behind the front left wheel, and the another leak right rear, just behind the right rear wheel.

    thanks!

For 2005-2008 models it is both on the passenger sides, I'm not sure about the 2009 models if the front condensed water outlet was moved to driver's side.

But as what you mentoned "i've been noticing signs of leak on the front left, just behind the front left wheel" it is highly from the aircon behind the firewall, and since all water containers (Radiator, Windshield washer) are located on the front.

Thanks Mile2 You're just so reliable hehe... Buti nalang may mga members tayong tulad ninyo.

Re: Innova low profile, parang wala pa akong nakitang ganun pero it defeats the purpose for me (of having innova because of its high clearance to combat flood at large pot holes), just my opinion.

according to some members with 225/50/17 wheel size... it's a bit heavier to steer understandably because of the tire's low profile.

with regards to which is better in terms of safety and driving comfortability... i would go for the 215/55/17 because of the slightly higher sidewall, thus minimizing punctures... in addition to that... easier maneuverability.

    just my 2 cents

hello guys, joined tsikot mainly just for this thread, new innova owner here..

for J owners, any tip on how to add some security on the hubcap? thinking of using large cable ties,

and another thing, are there any other types of TBL (Third Brake Light) for our innova? besides from the spoiler = TBL combo, don't really need that spoiler though

thanks guys, hoping for your warm hospitality here..

also thinking of getting the Kijang emblem, where can this be placed? replace the Innova emblem? can't find what page in this thread this issue was discussed..

    TY once again

    Thank you.
Makati offered me for Innova J 30K discount, seat cover, 3m magic tint, side visor, 16K insurance. Di nga lng free na LTO reg. Sayang at di ko na mahintay sa Marikina, free sana LTO pero standard 3m tint.

I guess ok na rin na deal to.
