Bumili ako ng gamit na gulong sa kapitbahay ko (makapal at mura kasi)

So far, pina change oil at palit ng air at oil filter pati spark plugs. Yung fuel filter hindi pa napalitan, medyo mahal kasi. Pina-align and balance ko rin.
Ang tanong (No. 2) ano ang dapat ipa-check ko at dapat ba ako magpalit ng fuel filter?
Malamig pa yung aircon at gumagana naman lahat ng electronics, kaso yung 3rd brake light sa gitna/taas hindi na umiilaw...may nabibili ba nun?

Medyo tataas lang ng mga 1 inch ang body ground clearance mo. I have seen some Innova's on 204/70/R15, have talked to some also and they say ride comfort has improved.

Every 5Kms palit ng engine oil (mineral) and oil filter
Every 10Kms palit ng spark plugs (copper Denso K20HR-U11), air filter PLUS the 5Kms PMS.
Every 40Kms palit din lahat ng oil (engine, transmission, differential, power steering) pati coolant at brake/clutch fluid. Palit din lahat ng filters.
Ordinary auto bulb lang yun, you can pry open the black cover to access the bulb red deflector cover.Malamig pa yung aircon at gumagana naman lahat ng electronics, kaso yung 3rd brake light sa gitna/taas hindi na umiilaw...may nabibili ba nun?

Last question lang po..pag-iniistart ko yung innova biglang nag re-rev ng hanggang 3k rpm pero hindi naman ako tumatapak sa accelerator at yung idling niya ay 1.5k pero after few minutes babalik na yung idling below 1k. ganun po ba talaga yun?

Hi to all tsikoters, mag inquire lang po ako kung saan magandang bumili ng accessories ng innova particularly yung (rear spoiler and body moulding) kasi masyadong mahal sa casa. I went minsan sa banawe and i did inquire sa Goldrich ok naman offer nila, i jus want to have other options on where else i can buy at reasonable price and ok din ang service. salamat po!
At 40K dapat palit na lahat ng fluids ng auto especially yung transmission and differential, kahit mukhang malinis pa yung transmission oil pero marami na rin yang minute solid particles, nakita ko yan ng mag 40K PMS ako dahil pinakita sa aking mechanic kung gaano kakapal ang residue sa drain plug.
Normal lang na mataas ang idling after cold start, kusang bababa ang idling after few minutes when it attain certain temperature and pressure. Nothing to worry![]()

i've noticed sa sig mo na you're using denso iridium plugs, maganda ba performance nito? and is the plug colder than stock? i have the G vvti a/t variant pala. plano ko kasi magpalit ng colder plug since yung innova ko tumotope paminsan minsan pag nagkarga ako ng petron xtra unleaded or xcs, sa blaze lang hindi tumotope kaso ang mahal naman ng blaze. replaced my plugs twice na, even the fuel filter, pati lahat ng sensors pina check ko narin pero ok naman.last resort ko nun is i had my fuel injectors cleaned and got the tank flushed and filled with blaze, dun lang tumino. pero nag try uli ako once sa xcs and bumalik yung tope. mapili ba talaga sa gas ang innova?
LPG fuel is the main reason I go for 1 step colder Iridium, it is for longer spark plug life. I have also tried Iridium IKH20 same heat range of the stock copper K20HR-U11 and performance is the same.
Di naman mapili ang Innova 2.0 1TRFE engine sa types of unleaded, I'm using E10 (+2 years na) and LPG (8 months) pero so far okay naman ang performance.
Kung tope yan, baka di na yan sa fuel kundi sa carbon deposits, try mo ihataw paminsan minsan para lumipad lahat ng carbon pati na yung nasa catalytic converter. My everyday route is lots of traffic and some long freeway stretch kaya panay ang hataw minsan. Pumipino ang idling ko pag naihahataw ko.
I forgot, ginalaw ba ng mechanic mo yung mga rubber boots ng Stick Coil? baka kasi mis-aligned yung spring sa loob. Also make sure you have the correct spark plug gap and no mis-aligned spark plug ground tip.

thanks for the tip, maihataw nga minsan, regular route ko kasi puro traffic and almost no empty stretches para maihataw.it also takes a toll on my fuel consumption as i average 5-5.5 km/l city driving. average ko nga sa mid ko nasa 10kph lang hehe. tsaka madalas ko bine baby itong innova so maybe puno na ng carbon deposits. reg sa coil, hindi ko sure kung na mis align pagtanggal kabit ng plugs. pano ba malalaman kung na mis align? reg the plug gap pala diba naka correct gap na siya when you purchase the plugs?

Masisilip mo naman yung dulo ng Stick Coil kung maayos pa ang tayo ng spring, dati kasi naging problema ko din ang rough idling at ang culprit ay yung natabingi na spring ng Stick Coil.
Yes, when you buy spark plugs in Casa (cheaper there BTW, compared to auto supply) they are already pre-gapped to 0.11 but then minsan may mga palpak din na tabingi ang ground electrode. So pagbibili ka kailangan mo rin tignan out of the box.
BTW, I'm buying my spark plugs, oil filter and other consumables at Toyota Makati hehehe puede pa credit card![]()
thanks mile2, ill keep that in mind pag nag rough idling ako, kagabi nga hinataw hataw ko na si innova para matanggal mga carbon deposits hehe, lagi kasing stuck sa traffic kaya siguro nagkaganon. so far gamit ko xtra unleaded lang pero wala ng tope. regarding dun sa spring ng coil, did you just straighten it out yung mga tabingi or did you replace the entire coil pack?
Di naman, inayos ko lang ang pakakatayo ng spring, medyo sumabit lang sa rubber boots kaya di yata halos sumasayad sa spark plug post. Di ko alam kung bakit kinalas nung mekaniko yung rubber boots hehehe medyo bago siguro sa paningin nya kaya inusyuso pati yung dulo ng stick coil.
Try having parts such as the intake sensors in the intake cleaned as well (MAF/MAP sensor) with some electric contact cleaner.
Napakahaba na thread nito do so some researching. Baka anyone would care to comment na lang on the performance ng Innova D4D. I'll be going on a long trip at gusto ko malaman kung malakas humatak when accelerating. Comparable ba sa gasoline car? Thanks.
