how often do you clean your a/c cabin filter?

tips naman pls on a/c maintenance.

Never had any servicing yet during the period of 3 years. Imagine 3 years na pero di pa rin nagdecline performance ng a/c ko despite no maintenance done. Constant cleaning/vacuuming lang ng cabin ginagawa ko. However will check the filter, probably tomorrow to clean it.

My Innova is also more than 3 years but had no problem with the aircon. A friend's Innova with the same age of my Innova had a major problem with his.

Finally dumating din yung plate number ng unit ko after more than two weeks of waiting . Nakakapanibago lang shifting from maual to automatic transmission. There were times na napapaapak ako sa "clutch" at "stick-shifter" coming from stand still feeling ko naka 1st gear ako

Masasanay ka rin in due time. It happened to me. Ngayon, sanay na ako.

Recirculate lang para less alikabok going inside the cabin, use fresh circulation if you need to remove bad odor/damp cloth smell when carpet got wet. Usually pag nabasa yung carpet di ko rin ginagamit yung fresh circulation, binubuksan ko na lang ang windows pag nakaparada sa garage.

I am planning to buy an innova for our family. I am choosing between Innova E Diesel AT and Innova G Gasoline AT. Pls help me decide what model and bibilin. What are the advantages & disadvantages of each model? Are there any brand of MPV that you would suggest?

Either of the two would be okay, just weigh present situations of fuel cost, it would be very hard to predict between Gas and Diesel.

IMHO, Diesel would be more expensive than Gasoline in the near future, it is already happening in Europe and the US. The only reason why Diesel fuel is cheaper than Gas here in the Philippines is because of Public Transport group, but the big question is how long will our Government protect Diesel price?

It is almost 2 years ago, when I ask myself the same question you are echoing here, I searched the net for fuel cost trends and decided to go with Gas version with the perception that fuel cost will rise and doubled in a year or two...and it did!

Alternative fuel for Diesel engine is costly and scarce while alternative fuel for Gas engine is abundant and cheap like LPG a byproduct of refineries.

Sorry, if this made you more confused, but reality of rising fuel cost should also be part of your decisions.

You can also check Kia Carens which has very good review but downside is less passenger and very low ground clearance.

wala akong naeexperience na ganyan sa unit ko... super tahimik ng makina... minsan nga akala ko di sya umaandar eh... smooth din acceleration nya, walang vibration.

Thanks for the inputs. I think I would go for the Innova G AT because of the interior design which is in ivory & the additional accessories it has compare to Innova E. In terms of gasoline consumption, how much is your average city driving & out of town drive?

Is KIA Carens a good buy? Is the price competitive compare to Innova. My hesitations with Carens as what you have said is the ground clearance which is disadvantageous in flood waters.

you got the diesel variant? if yes sa loob medyo rinig ang diesel engine lalo na pa nag accelerate but not that irritating coming from gas na car. and i think mas ramdam to pag ikaw ang driver not sure about the muffler di ko napapansin, maybe you have to check other units kung ganon din.

Question lang, we got our new Innove E diesel M/T last Saturday. I noticed that when we used the key to open the door at the driver side, hindi sya auto-open/lock for all doors, it will only do that if you press a control auto-lock control located at the driver's door. Ganun ba talaga? Thanks in advance.

Remove the lower globe compartment by hand, squeeze both sides. Makikita mo yung malaking black na parang timba, sa ibabaw nito may isang pahabang bukasan, buksan mo at hugutin mo yung paper filter at linisin. Usually six months use makapal na ang alikabok sa filter kahit palagi ka pang nagva-vacuum.

* Mile2, referring to the picture, (the AC blower assembly), for the benefit of the doubt, including myself, could you educate us on how to release the filter from the assembly to be able to clean it? TIA

Always on recirculation mode. With the type of atmosphere we have here in the Philippines especially in the suburbs, you won't like to get your lungs filled with toxic CO (carbon monoxide), do you?

also, how many liters are added to the tank when i fill it sagad?

just to ask you and compare the price..., tanong ko lang kung ganito rin ba bigay sa yo ng sales agent: P37,645 comp insurance, P7,500 LTO reg for 3 yrs, P19,377 chattel mortgage, P1,801 3yrs TPL

then, sang toyota dealer ka bumili at anong mga free na nakuha mo? like mudguard?....tint..?? etc...

WHen opening your innova from driver side using your key, It should OPEN/LOCK all five doors of your Innova provided it has keyless entry system.

like mine it has no provision for aircon filter as mine is from the first batch...
