Kahit Big Player meron din balasubas, Me and my brother chances upon a Shell station in San Juan unloading to its reservoir from six drums of Diesel loaded on a Ford Fierra (Sigurado akong galing ito sa PA-IHI).

*Mile2 siguro kung nakunan mo ng snapshot yung mga balasubas baka naibigay sa iyo yung isang drum with diesel, he he he!

Sir, how much is the set of leather seat covers at Lether Land? Sa Toyota Marikina kasi, it is about P14K. D pa ako nakakapagshop around until now.

I got many info from this thread so keep it coming guys!
Just one question though, I would like to replace my floor mats...please tell me your best recommended brand for this.
    Thanks a lot in advanced!
You can check at ACE Hardware in SM Mall of Asia for the floor mats especially designed for Innova. I bought a five piece set for P2,300.00 around November last year when I bought my innova. It is light grey in color and does not slip because of the underside spikes and made of thick rubber material. Best value for money in my opinion. Yung ibinibigay ng casa na free e walang kuwenta, madulas kaya puede kang madisgrasya.

Talagang may issues pa. Swertehan lang talaga sa unit ng D4D.

ng Innova G A/T Diesel last week po.

(brand new po ba or 2nd hand). Im planning to get an innova diesel A/T and hope to get help and information from fellow tsikoteers since im new here. thank you in advance sir.

My FC sa city driving = 9.2 l/km, Brand new.

These affects only few, but not the majority. Just be careful on choosing Gas Station when filling your diesel.

pina leather ko kasi yung mismong seats ko, yung nakatahi na, parang sa fortuner kaya wala kong idea sa price nung leather seat cover na kinakakabit, but here's the number of the owner of Leather Land, Jerry Bautista 3765364, 4976429, you can ask him directly.

congratulations! you made a wise decision in choosing diesel. enjoy!

relax ka lang . .
    its absolutely normal!

i hope people in this thread will not be offended on what im about to post. this is just a plea on my part. just take it with a grain of salt at wag mapipikon. so here it goes . . .

admittedly, some 2005-2006 d4ds had problems. but i would like to believe that a company as big as toyota would not risk its reputation by not immediately addressing this problem. a car company which is about to overtake ford as the best selling automaker in the world is not so dumb to take this sitting down and sabotage its efforts to be no.1.

while im sure some of the members here mean well
, i hope they answer the question in the context of whether it is still related to the "original" supply pump problem or not. because, IMHO, it is quite misleading to say that just because a d4d chokes or stalls, it is immediately because of the "original" problem! you may not say it, but it is the impression that one gets specially if the question was asked in the context of the "old-original" problem.

there are several reasons why a car chokes or stalls. one would be contaminated diesel from ill-repute gas stations/companies(which we all know is rampant nowadays with the exponential increases in the price of diesel). second, use of additives not recommended by the manufacturer. third, poor maintenance or driving in flooded areas. and so on and so forth. i could go on with the list.

the point is there is no "perfect" car. even other diesel manufacturers im sure have encountered such problems. heck, even a gasoline car chokes or stalls.

if we are not too sure if it is due to the "original" problem, nakikisuyo ako that we refrain from answering the question or "qualify" our answer if its not too much to ask.

we might say that "yun yung sinabi ng kaibigan kong mekaniko sa kasa". but we all know that the mechanics are no different from our "barberos", if you know what i mean.

whether we like it or not, such "insinuations" are like swords hanging over the heads of diesel owners. specially over a big investment like buying a car.

it also leaves a bad taste in the mouth that this are coming from a few VVTi owners.

we are one big happy family here and so it is my hope and plea that we be more circumspect.

    thank you.

    PEACE

My intention of leaking out information was not to bad mouth or down D4d, but to give others a head up. If ever I have a D4D I will still spell out its problem no matter how anyone sees it not fit. As I have mentioned in my last post "be careful on choosing your gas station".

Vibrating shifter of VVTi...you can not compare it to sedan! M/T transmission of VVTi is directly coupled with the engine while the sedans uses cable only. To minimize vibration, you can use Synthetic Oil and Iridium (Denso IKH20) spark plug to tapper the idling and vibration.

Failing supply pump is not an isolated case on D4d, it affects even other brands, in my old diesel days I have removed my Isuzu 4FB1 supply pump and replace it with a large fuel filter with water separator and manual pump to keep it having enough diesel to supply the injectors.

Salamat sir sa info. I totally agree with your insights. Salamat din po sa advice. I'm now a proud owner of a toyota innova!!! got my unit (2nd hand, 1 year used - 15T kms) last week. it's a diesel AT E variant with some accessories. Used it agad sa sucat-dagupan trip and got a 10.73 km/L FC (madalas kasi hataw kahit long driving -- to shake-off carbon deposits kung meron man). I'm very pleased with its performance overall.
Will have to bring it to casa sa tuesday for 15T kms. PMS. To those who can comment, san better toyota alabang or bicutan? in terms of quality of service?
