Since the Innova is RWD and uses a live axle rear suspension, there is no room under the 3rd row floor for the seats to fold into.

According to a Toyota Agent a SCUT version will come out this year or next year, but no significant mods. maybe the front grill na ang emblem medyo unbok ng konti at new mags and new skirts?

Got this from wikipedia. Can any VVT-i owners confirm this?

Unfortunately, the new engine gives more power (2000 cc) but a liter of petrol (1 liter = 1000 ml) only fit for 7-8 kilometres (1 miles = 1.6 kilometres, 1 kilometres = 1000 metres). But after the minor change in 2007, the engine is now equipped with close loop combustion system, and based from Auto Bild Indonesia test, the consumption of petrol is 1 litre can fit for 11-12 kilometres.

Thanks liv, its a relief to see discussion of which to be on one distunguished thread. After all, the initial Innova thread title says "New Toyota Innova Owners....", take note guys, the first word "New".

well last night i remove my glove compartment and check the blower assembly at pareho nga nun pic ni leinatahn...

then i tried to pull the clip on the left side but nabali yung parang elliptical handle, kaya di ko pa rin nabuksan..

Is there a special tecnique in opening that??

A picture would be nice specially showing it open already... Thanks sir mile2..

    WBR,
    * Innova_Boy, I just found out that ours doesn't have the filter. Using a small mirror and a flashlight to see what's inside the blower assembly from the top of the rectangular lid, by mirror reflection, revealed that there is no fitted filter of the AC. That's why the lid cover on our unit, as Mile2 is referring, is fixed.

My current city FC is from 9 to 10 li/km. Logged more than 60,000 kms in more than 3 years. I'm using Petron Xtra.

If thats the case then you can just poke out the lid cover and insert the filter, plaster back the lid afterwards, anyway it is concealed behind the glove compartment. Try to get the filter first from casa.

If you got the filter then your aircon outlets will not get dusty and dirty.

    hi mga ka-innova!

Ask ko lang po sana sa inyo if which is better, a roof-mounted LCD (w/o DVD) or 2 sets of Headrest LCD for our innova? What are the advantages/disadvantages of each accessories? Any suggestions on brands? What sets of audio systems appropriate for your chosen type of LCD? Will buy soon an in-dash dvd player with TV tuner as HU.

Bakit kaya puro facelift lang? Mga car manufacturers talaga mahilig magparetoke ng mga kotseng binebenta nila. Hehe!

Yes, facelift for the Innova since its been around here since early 2005 and late 2004 in places like Thailand and Indonesia. Normally, a vehicle would have a 5-6 years life span before getting an all new body change.

Re: No J variant in Thailand.
I think the "E" in Thailand serves the same purpose of the "J" here. It looks just like the J here (no side moulding, no black outs on doors, black door handle, steel rims w/ hubcaps, etc...)

    Hi to all,

I read in the manual that our innova dsl needs idling time after driving for a certain speed and time, do we need to install turbo timer?

    Thanks.

    Safe driving to all.
